“Great place to recover from an exhausting flight”
It’s a villa of about 10 rooms so relatively small and peaceful location. The rooms were spacious with air con or fans. Also a balcony with sea view. Clean useful size pool. Very calming location. Staff very helpful

“Driftwood is the perfect airport hotel that doesn’t feel like one – stunning ocean views, spotless rooms, and staff who”
We chose this hotel because of its location, just 25 minutes from the airport, yet it still feels like a true holiday escape. Beautifully situated right on the ocean, the large garden is filled with palm trees and sun loungers, and there is even a pool with sparkling lights set into the surround. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and immaculately clean – not what you might expect from an airport hotel. The bathroom was spotless, with a perfectly functioning shower. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive; they even made a special trip to buy beer for my husband. The sunset over the water was so beautiful that we decided to have dinner on the rooftop balcony, where we enjoyed a fantastic rice and curry and a very fresh Porto. The hotel manager also arranged a driver for 3:00 in the morning, who arrived ahead of schedule.THF hotel manger even provided a little breakfast take away for us, which was very sweet. We wholeheartedly recommend Driftwood to anyone looking for a stress-free start or end to their holiday.

A private party was held during my stay meaning guests couldn't use the facilities, especially the pool and lawn!! I was told it won't happen again. Please check this before you book.

“Lovely relaxing stay before heading home”
Lovely view out to sea. Very comfy beds. Dinner was delicious, they surprised us with an anniversary cake and we left at 6am the next day and they made us breakfast to go to take to airport. Air con was lovely and so close to the airport

“Beautiful, friendly and affordable”
I don't know what i was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this! It is amazing place to stay: the room is vast, the bed huge and comfy, all the staff were brilliant - helpful and friendly, the food was extremely tasty, and we really didn't want to leave. But when we tried to book another night it was sadly full :(

The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially the manager Dinesh who always had a smile and wanted to accommodate us in any way. The views are stunning and having the pool so close is lovely. We really enjoyed our week here.

We found Dinesh most helpful and all of the staff were smiley and friendly. It was a super to relax after a long flight. It is apart from Negombo but we loved the peace. Dinesh was very helpful with transport when we needed it. The sunsets are beautiful from the balcony. We saw a white throated kingfisher on the near building and the bird chorus is wonderful too. Felt very safe and enjoyed the pool. The evening meal was so tasty . Thank you would recommend this place to other people.

“Outstanding value for money and great location close to the airport.”
Great rooms, great food and very good location close to the airport and to the ocean. One of the best showers we've had in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately it is advisable to go swim fro the beach for security reasons. Would have given a 10 if we wouldn't have felt awkward staying after check-out on the day of leaving when we had a very late flight.
