Overview
Pamporovo's Holiday Village Kochorite has spacious villas with a living room, seating area and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. All have several bedrooms and bathrooms. The houses have a balcony or terrace accessing the inner courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom, a fireplace and a garage. Some have a sauna. Bare stone walls and dark wood wall and ceiling panelling are featured in several of the rooms. Whilst all units are self-catering, food and drink can also be enjoyed at Holiday Village Kochorite’s restaurant. Internet, barbecue facilities, private parking and a ski storage room are available free of charge. The Malina ski lift is just a 10-minute walk away, whilst the central bus station can be reached by car in 5 minutes. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request.

My two friends and I spent two nights in August. The place was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they had the refreshing warm temper of the Rhodope region. It was a bit unfortunate that we didn’t always have cell service inside the house, but it is the mountains after all, not really the Village’s fault. During summer however, there are not many places where you can stock up on food, like vegetables and other cooking ingredients. The nearest supermarket and pharmacy are at Chepelare (a 20 minute drive from Pamporovo) which is something you should keep in mind if you’re staying in for lunch and dinner. Breakfasts were great, mostly homemade meals prepared with fresh local ingredients.
