The little houses had a lot of privacy, I loved the outdoor shower. Staff was friendly and helped us plan some nice activities.

This place is a peaceful realm, full of nature. The surroundings are spectacular. The river with clear waters, the small beach, the constant wind, all invite you to rest and relax. Edwin, Edilberto and all the staff were present at all times, alert to anything we might need. What a great service. Nidia and their team at the "spa" were great. Nidia is a skilled massage therapist. Great work on my legs and back! The casa de vapor experience was OUT of this world. We love steam baths and sauna, but the temazcal stands apart. Whoever likes steam baths and or sauna must try this one. It is by the river so you can go straight to it and cool off. Food was really good. It took a while for us to get what we ordered, but it was worthwhile. Fresh natural flavors in every dish. The room was good as well. It was a big king kiosk, with the rest room on one side. The shower had no ceiling, and there was HOT water. Cool indeed.

An unique experience. A calm and relaxing ambience in beautiful naturalistic gardens set on a curve in the river amongst the magnificent rain forest of the Sierra Nevada. We were greated with warm face flannels as we arrived to see vivid birds and bright and scented flowers. Sympathetic ecohuts with seperate bathrooms and private open air showers. A stunning central building with library, apothecary selling oils and toiletries grown and made on site, seating areas, and an open central campfire. Daily and varied beautifully presented meals of a quality unmatched in any hotel we've stayed in. Great natural treatments are available on request. The list price for meals was lower on our booking site and was incorrect, so check in advance but the lower price was honoured by Leonardo and the team, which was very much appreciated.
