The pool area is really good vibes, with comfy / padded sunbeds (not always the case in Colombia!!) Good sized rooms with comfy bed and good AC. Plus a fridge to keep the water cold. Short walk into Palomino centre along the beach. Staff were so helpful and made delicious cocktails.

Wow. Setting - hard to beat. If you want a couple of relaxing, inspiring days spent looking out to sea, with the kids chilling in the sand underneath the swaying coconut palms (not directly under obviously!). But lounging poolside, comfy accommodation, restaurant onsite with nice food. Do it, treat yourself. It’s at the top end of budget if you’re thinking hmmm is it worth it - the answer is yup. The staff are lovely, if you lean into it obviously, don’t be an entitled wanker, talk to the housekeepers, groundskeepers, engage with them, you’ll get the best out of your stay. Shout out to the great front of house staff - Millie, Adriana, Paula, Selena, the housekeepers were soooo lovely, as were the maintenance guys. Great team. Great location.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff! Very good a la carte breakfast. Tasty meals at any time in the restaurant. Well maintained facilities.

Excelentes zonas communes

The location is very good, with an spacious garden with palm trees and two swimming pools and direct access to the beach. All the hotels more to the west have serious problems with coastal erosion, impacting their business and the beachfront. This hotel luckily has a bit more space before the sea will swallow their terrain (check coastal erosion articles Palomino). The room we had was a family room and thus spacious for a couple of two. They have massage facility on premises as well as a restaurant. The biggest plus is the direct access to the beach and swimming pools the moment you step out your room. I paid around 97 Euro per night (with Genius discount) for a family room, which i doable but quite some points they could improve, see below.

Very nice swimming pool for a family with young kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast options. WiFi was also quite good around the property.

We liked the hotel at the beach. It was quiet, but close to walk to Palomino. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got an room upgate, which was very nice. The breakfast was good.

We had a nice and relaxing stay. Nice breakfast, good food at the restaurant, caring and helpful staff, close at the beach, quiet, nice pools, close walk to Palomino shops and cafes. We enjoy to relax at Chiniu after our four day trek to the lost city. It was the perfect place to rest and relax!

Beachfront hotel a few kms away from Palomino. Two lovely pools. Great breakfast. Nice lounge area on the beach. Surrounded by jungle, so great option for flora fauna interested people.

“Suspect there was better value to be had at some of the bigger hostels in town”

Inclusive breakfast was nice but very limited - we ended up going out and paying for breakfast to find a bit of variety

Almost everything. Two big pools with stunning views, cleaned on a daily basis. Great staff, very helpful, even though they do not speak english. Not a big problem. Basic spanish will get you everything done. Huge room with spacious closet. Perfect 'private' beach. Only 10-15 minutes walk by beach to town/redtaurants. Sound of waves and birds makes it realy chill place. Loved it!!!

The location is marvellous - in the middle of nature, having the view of palmtrees all around. That’s priceless. We had perfect view from our terrace. Nice pools. Bars, restauranst start just from the hotel area till Palomino “center” - nice walks on the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay, because we rate surrounding and athmosphere over other things 😎
