Everything was perfect. Amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, nice common area and big kitchen. The atmosphere in the hostel is amazing, the volunteers take good care of the guests and are super friendly and helpful;)))

“Fantastic”

Had a fab stay, the staff were all lovely and super helpful, breakfast great. The private room was really good, spacious and good bathroom and had a mozzie net. They were happy to clean it for us in the middle of our stay when we rebooked a few more nights.

Freesoul has such a unique vibe! The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is just amazing. Plus, the location couldn‘t be better. Highly recommend!

The Freesoul Hostel has a good location in being very central and still not too far from the beach, which means everything is walkable. It is rather quiet, so it's perfect if you want to relax. They offer nice breakfast and a chill overall vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Rude receptionist”

Receptionist man was rude and patronising. While I know basic Spanish to get by whilst travelling, I’m not fluent. Instead of using Google Translate—which I had open on my phone—to communicate about their delayed check-in due to a power cut, he condescendingly asked where I was from and questioned me as to why I didn’t speak Spanish. He then continued speaking at me in Spanish (instead of using Google translate) in a passive-aggressive manner.

My experience was fantastic, the place is very nice, they were very friendly, helpful, willing and cooperative. The breakfast was too delicious, complete and the coffee wonderful. The room and space was very comfortable and clean, the decoration was very beautiful, all the people were very friendly.

As I was alone in the room I had plenty of space. For a couple it would be just ok. The room had two bedside lamps what I never found in other rooms. it is nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly.

Relaxing cosy hostel with a great kitchen, hammocks, and fun salsa classes and nice happy hour in the evening.

Very nice hostel, it's quite small so there is not a lot of people so the hostel is quiet at nights. If you want to party hard, you can go somewhere else or the beach. Breakfast was great and it's amazing to be able to chose between 4 different types every day! I had a massage when I was there and it was one of the best I ever had, the lady had just the right pressure, I wish I remembered her name to recommend...and it's not expensive and they come to you. Nice touch to have a mosquito net and a fan by the bed. Nice staff and volunteers. They do try to organise activities, the most regular being dancing classes at the hostel itself, and I think it's a great effort. There is a kitchen to cook if you feel like it. Price is great. The hostel is also midway between the beach (if you want to surf or take the sun or go to the parties) and the end of the town, so you are in the middle of a lot of restaurants, shops etc

“Best hostel in Colombia”

The people working there are so nice and welcoming, they call you by your name, I love it! Breakfast amazing and included in the price, makes my life so much easier. Just choosing between 4 delicious options. The dorms are nice there is a little space next to the bed, for everyday stuff, so useful. Location is great, in the main road, and not too close from the sound of the parties It's perfect

The best breakfast I’ve ever head in the hostel! The rooms are nice, facilities are clean and kitchen is really well equipped. The place has a really nice vibe and the people and volunteers working there are making this place unique! Definitely recommend!

“High Hopes, But Disappointed at Freesoul Hostel”

The hostel offers a very good breakfast, although I had some reservations considering the state of the kitchen in which it was prepared. The salsa class provided was enjoyable and a highlight of my stay. The beds were comfortable.

Great staff and atmosphere. Nice area in the back for a little workout or yoga. Close enough to the beach.
