A simply perfect stay in a beautiful location. Lina and her daughter, Valeria, have created a really special place in the sleepy town of Palomino. I stayed in the lower level of the main house which was very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The property has 4 very friendly cats and is nestled away from the main road which makes for a quiet stay. I was able to get my laundry done for the very reasonable price of 30,000 COP. More than anything Lina and Valeria were so kind and treat you much more like friends and family than simply guests.

“Perfect ?”

Our stay was amazing. I wish we could have been there for a whole week ! The treehouse was gorgeous. We were so relaxed. Just what we needed. And the cats were so sweet! It really was beautiful. A really special part of our trip! And we love Palomino!

“Tropical garden for relaxing.”

Tranquil tropical garden just off the beaten track. We loved our spacious room and breakfast looking out over the beautiful garden. Delicious pancakes and fruit the first morning and was disappointed they were not available the next day! Very friendly service despite the language barrier. And the service laundry washing (after the Lost City trek) was superb at COP30000. Also let us leave our bags for a few hours after check out. Really enjoyed our chill out stay.

Sleeping in the treehouse was such a special experience. I honestly enjoyed it so much. I even left the beach early just to relax in the hammock on the balcony and take in the quiet surroundings. The beach is a bit of a walk, but that actually made the place feel more peaceful and secluded, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, and Lina, the host, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Also saw many different types of birds! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and unique place to stay in Palomino.

From the moment I arrived, I had an incredible time and wished I could have stayed even longer. The location was perfect—peaceful yet just a short walk from everything I needed. The host was exceptional: warm, attentive, and full of excellent local tips that made my many excursions all the more enjoyable. Each morning’s breakfast was unbelievably delicious, with a wonderful variety that set me up perfectly for the day. My room was impressively large, spotlessly clean, and furnished in a unique style—truly a comfortable home away from home. Thank you wholeheartedly for such a fantastic experience. We stay in the room on the ground floor and it was amazing. Very clear, big and nice room with terrace. The property is located in the privat garden. Breakfast was dellicious.

The room and premises are lovely. The accomodation has a large garden where you can hang out during the day. The room is beautifully furnished and decorated and has a double hammock on the terrace. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you want to, they can organize tours for you. There is filtered water for use in the accomodation and a kitchen. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable with mosquito nets. The room boasted two ventilators. The location of the hostel is perfect, not far from the center and beach, but in a very quiet neighborhood.

We loved the tree house, it was beautiful and the area around the hotel was quiet and relaxing.

We have really liked the accommodation. Close to the beach but not in the noisy area. Amazing room, very spacious with nice shower. The breakfast was a treat and the coffee was amazing! I forgot the lady’s name but she was a true gem, taking care of the breakfast and anything you need! She truly adds up to the place. The owner is a sweet person as well who replies quick to your message and helps with anything you need! For a small fee you can wash your clothes there as well which was amazing! You can also store stuff in the fridge or use the kitchen which is a bonus! I would definitely come back here or recommend it to my friends!
