I’m deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the Residence Inn Palo Alto Los Altos, located at 4460 El Camino Real, Los Altos, CA 94022. For a property bearing the Marriott name, the experience fell far below expectations. Breakfast is advertised as being available until 10:00 AM, yet by 9:00 AM, even basic essentials like coffee were nowhere to be found. Over the course of three days, housekeeping never once refreshed our towels, despite repeated requests. I also asked twice for an extra set of sheets—and no one ever showed up. The lack of responsiveness and attention to basic guest needs was both frustrating and unacceptable. This level of service is not what one should encounter at a hotel of this caliber.

The room (rather studio) are rather large, cozy. Particularly appreciated is the supply of amenities (coffee, towels, pillows, dish soap etc.). Shops and restaurants are quite close, even walking distance.

Ok for the price you pay. Pool water quite dirty so unusable. Good service that the breakfast is included and food is fresh. Bad service that you have to pay 14$ (!!) to park your car there. I would expect that is included in the price I pay. Overall the studios are well equipped.

Good housekeeping staff reception helpful rooms need renovation. I was in 134 bad desk chair leaking toilet 269 nice view dysfunctional dishwasher. Repairs are done promptly beds are too high paid for queen bed got a double bed breakfast awful

Mostly excellent. Beds very comfortable, shower great, lots of fluffy towels. We had a suite and the kitchen facilities were great. We loved the pool area. Not many sun loungers but we were the only users so that was fine. Great breakfast. Bottomless coffee.

“Perfect, exactly what we needed”
The breakfast was lovely, kids loved making their own waffles. Staff so friendly, lovely peaceful garden/pool area yet so centrally placed. We loved it so much we extended our stay, and my local family will definitely book it for visitors
