“Excellent place to stay”

The bungalows are very well designed and very clean. The food was lovely. The whole setup extremely pleasant. Binita was very helpful and organised a trip in the mangroves on a pirogue, completed with a picknick and visit to a local village and fish mine, and evening outing in the ecopark where we visited the salt pits and even some hyena's. That day was one of the highlights of our holiday. We would have loved to stay longer.

Very nice stay! Very warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful. Very comfy beds. Nice pool. Delicious food. They tried to help us with everything. The staff were very friendly. They arranged a boat trip for us at a very fair price, during which we saw the impressive mangroves and visited isolated villages, such as Falia. It is very well located, easily accessible, and close to Djiffer, which is really fun to see around 5 PM when the fishing boats return. Conclusion: an absolute must if you want to stay near Djiffer!

“Precious nature experience and very nice staff”

Lovely new place in the middle of nowhere but in plain nature. You open the back door into the mangrove woods and water, cross the street and touch the wild Atlantic. Fantastic tours can be booked directly and simple at the Lodge. As there are no real facilities around like bigger shops or restaurants we got served perfect breakfast and meals by the nice lady running the house. No car, take a piroge or a caleche or a driver. The pool is marvellous, the AC is working, wifi leaking but everything else is worth going there.

Le 17 to DJIFFER is a very nice clean and quiet place to stay for holiday . The staff were friendly and helpful.

Charming thatched huts with very comfortable interiors, immaculately clean. All set within a lovely garden with pool. Bineta was so helpful and cooked us delicious meals (the best Senegalese meal so far on this trip!). To note, the view from the pool area is of the delta and mangroves (a lovely view). The beach however is on the other side of the road. It is a lovely stretch of beach so we took some beers over and walked the sun come down.

We had a great stay! The pool is just lovely and the lady running the place is amazing. The food was exceptional and it was just a short ride on the donkey cart into Djiffer. Our kids didn’t want to leave :)
