“Fabulous with amazing views (no car required)”

Absolutely fabulous. This is an apartment above the family house with lovely breeze from the kitchen through to the front balcony. Amazing views of the clouds in the valley below and rolling off the mountains. Very large comfy solid bed. Very clean. Lovely small village and we walked to the local restaurant and also into town which is close and all is on the flat apart from the small incline in the village and a relatively steep but very short track to the house (100m and us oldies in mid 60s were able to easily do). Taxis available if needed. Town is lovely and we used this stop on the way back from drakes bay. Host has exceptional English and very helpful in anything you need. We had no car so lovely to stay away from a town an be in the countryside but within walkable distance.

Jorge was waiting for us at the gate and helped us with our bags and showed us around the apartment and the grounds. Jorge was incredibly helpful with showing us where to eat and the next day giving us a lift to the bus station and helping us with our tickets, it would have been a long winded experience without his excellent English. He’s a fantastic host.

The owner was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The place was basic but clean and comfortable. Two minutes drive from the town where everything is available. Good value for money.

Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!

We were craving for a shower and a bed. But upon arrival there was no water . That broke our spirits. You also need a 4x4 to reach the location and I would strongly advise against visiting where the steap driveway is wet.

“Feel at home amongst nature”

Jorge was an amazing host, a friend who made our stay incredible. The nature around, monkeys, so many birds, toucans, macaws, parrots, iguanas, frogs. The grounds are amazing to explore and the sunset view is incredible The house is equipped with everything you need for a stay and with incredibly fast internet

“Great house!”

Really authentic location, well equipped house with a great terrace, fridge/freezer, AC, hot water in the shower, washing machine and clothes lines for drying. Everything we needed with two small children. Jorge was also really nice, helped us out and gave good tips for the area - fx Playa Ventanas, that we really enjoyed. Highly recommended!
