The Hotel was beyond our expectations, the views, the rooms much more beautiful than we thought. It was our first in Mallorca and even a birthday surprise for my Mom and Fiancee. We had a wonderful time and were really and we want to come again. Thank you Elba Sunset for your great Service.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choice available each morning. The hotel is situated on a hill with amazing views and is approximately a 10 minute walk down to the nearby beaches and restaurants. This wasn’t a negative for us, though it may be challenging for some less able bodied guests due to the steep pavements and inclines leading to the surrounding areas. That said, I have to highly commend the hotel for its outstanding facilities and accessibility for people with disabilities. From the pool hoist to the open, spacious layout throughout the property, everything has been very thoughtfully designed. The bedrooms feature fully accessible ensuite bathrooms, all finished to an exceptionally high standard.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a mixed experience. Starting with the positives, the hotel is in a beautiful position overlooking the sea and the views are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean, and well maintained. Our room was nice and the view from the balcony was fabulous — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We also thought the late checkout option was excellent value. We were able to extend checkout until 3pm for just €25, which we felt was very reasonable and much later than most hotels offer. However, there were a few disappointing aspects to our stay, particularly around food and service. Breakfast was unfortunately poor. Although breakfast runs until 10:30am, we found that after around 9:45am many items were not replenished. On our first morning, we arrived at breakfast at 10:10am and were rather abruptly told that breakfast finished at 10:30am. Despite there still being 20 minutes left, the selection available was very limited and it felt as though breakfast had already been packed away. We also ate in the Bow Restaurant and had a disappointing experience there. We waited around 25 minutes before a waiter even took our order. My husband ordered the chicken wrap, which was very underwhelming — mostly salad with very little chicken — and it took a long time to arrive. Unfortunately, the customer service from one particular waiter was poor; he came across as quite rude and was the same staff member who had been gruff during breakfast service. We did raise these concerns with reception during our stay, not to complain for the sake of it, but so the hotel could be aware and hopefully improve the experience for future guests. One thing worth noting for anyone considering staying here is the location. While the views are incredible, the hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill and most alternative restaurants are downhill. This may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
