“Unexpected gem”

The property is beautiful and well maintained, a major plus was external power sockets in the parking area so you can plug your in-vehicle fridge/freezer straight in - wish more places offered this! We wanted to do self-catering and, although the rooms are not kitted for self-catering, the staff immediately assigned us a camp site and provided cutlery and crockery so we could go and braai and do our own thing. The camp site was excellent, great views and beautiful private ablution facilities, along with under cover cooking and entertainment facilities. Great birdlife around the property as well. We had originally planned to stay two nights, but as we had elderly relatives with us who did not want to do a long drive, we had to leave a day early and make an interim stop further along our route - what a pity, would have loved to go and hike the property and enjoy some of the natural beauty on offer.

For us two Swiss Travellers, the perfect 2 nights stay during our 3.5 weeks around Namibia self-driving holiday! The Lodge is located into a very safe beautiful surroundings and guarded 24/24/7/365. The Restaurant, Service & Kitchen Staff provides a excellent tasty Food Menus and a large south African Wine List. All empowered and maintained by a perfect and professional skilled Team. They all provide a high Service Level and are very friendly staff.

We had an amazing stay! The setting was magical, the staff were incredible, and their thoughtful gift basket made our honeymoon extra special. We’ll never forget the warmth and care we felt at Palmwag — truly a highlight of our trip!

The room itself was good, but the staff came across as somewhat unfriendly. Both breakfast and dinner were underwhelming, and the pool was showing signs of wear with water that didn’t look particularly clean.

This lodge is beautiful and in a great location. The cabins (even the standard ones) feel like a luxury vacation, and this lodge is well worth the stay. The view from the restaurant is unbelievable at sunset, and the food is delicious. The staff are kind and easy-going and help to organize whatever activities you would like to do.

Astonishing views from the bungalow balcony, feeling of being in the beautiful nature yet still comfortable.

Delicious dinner with stunning view. Unfortunatelly there was no wi fi due to unspecified failure( it was quite inconvinient to us, because it was a main purpouse, why we choose this lodge for a 2 day brake on our camping trip). According to prices i.e. In Etosha, game drives here are little overpriced.

Nice houses with a very nice view. Especially to watch the sunset. Good beds, nice shower and great smelling shampoo, shower gel and many more in the room.
