“Such a wonderful place to base our exploration of Palermo”

Everything was clean and comfortable, while being accessible to all the things and areas we wished to visit. Giovanni our host was the nicest person and made us feel so welcomed, at home and looked after! He also helped us to navigate the city and organise activities too!

“Perfect B&B to explore the city.”

Giovanni is a great host, he a few days before our arrival details how to reach the B&B. He also recommended typical restaurants, where locals dine out. the B&B is located in one of the calmer zone of Palermo, but still near to the city center. We will come back for sure!

It is located at the center of the city, which helps you quickly get everywhere, food, scenic spots, parks, etc. the room is quite artistically decorated, it’s very beautiful. The owner is a very nice person, he provides luggage storage for us free. We will recommend friends to come.

“perfect charming stay”

I was in Palermo for two nights, before a work trip. Mama tita was a perfect base to explore city centre on foot. Giovanni was super helpful in every way - having read in other reviews that breakfast is mostly sweet pastries which is not really my style (it's a desert not breakfast ;) ) I was going to get some supplies for myself but Giovanni took care of it as soon as I mentioned. He really makes the place and your stay special.

“Excellent for Solo Travellers”

Giovanni was an exceptional host. His communication regarding check in was really helpful, he assisted me with booking multi-day car parking at a car park nearby, gave brilliant restaurant recomendations and provided a map of the area highlighting good spots to visit. My room was spotlessly clean, and I was particularly impressed by the modern ensuite, which had been finished to a high standard and had an excellent shower - a good bathroom always makes you feel right at home! Finally, I feel Mama Tita is an excellent option for solo travellers. It is located in an upmarket side of town, and whilst the walk to and from the historical centre was 30 minutes (it felt like much less), it was along broad well-lit roads with nice shops - this meant I always felt safe walking home alone at night as a solo female traveller. Many thanks Giovanni, I will be sure to recommend Mama Tita to any friends visiting Palermo.

The property has a lot of character and is very beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the location is perfect! Plus the breakfast was delicious, with local delicacies fresh from the bakery. Giovanni is the kindest and most welcoming host ever :) he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had the best stay possible. If I return to Palermo, I would 100% stay here again! Cannot recommend enough

Beautiful and stylish room with enough space for our 2 luggages. Super helpful owner who made sure we have a map with marked best places to visit and restaurants to eat. We also liked the neighborhood a lot. It is more clean and modern that old city and way more quite.

Absolutely loved my stay. Giovanni was very welcoming, helpful and flexible. The place is very well located,only a few minutes from the center, as a woman i felt safe walking at night. the room was clean and comfortable. I recommend! Thank you giovanni for making me feel at home!

It was great, the host was helpful and kind, good breakfast. There are a lot of blue line parking spots around the building so you don’t have to worry about that.

Mama Tita rooms are on the first floor of an old style building in a nice and quiet area of the city centre. Main historical sites are at walking distance (from 15min). Our room had high ceiling and a little balcony. It was clean, cosy and nicely decorated. We liked the chromotherapy lights in the shower cubicle. Roms are equipped with AC, kettle, small fridge and TV. The highlights of this accommodation are for sure the breakfast, which is served in the hall where all rooms open onto, and the host Giovanni. The breakfast is a typical sicilian breakfast with delicious traditional pastries and cakes, and you also have fresh fruit. Giovanni is a lovely and friendly host who tangibly enjoys talking to people and getting to know his guests. He shared with us precious tips of places to visit and to eat in Palermo and beyond. He gave us info on how to get to places, on parking and more. He helped us optimise our two days in this beautiful city. We will recommend Mama Tita to family and friends for sure and we hope to go back some day.
