We stayed here a week and all the facilities were very good. Super clean through out and there is a large outside area with table & chairs undercover plus for laundry & drying clothes. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the historic centre. Restaurants nearby, supermarket about 10 mins and a small but interesting museum over the road. Our arrival was 1 hour late due to a delayed train but Gabriele arranged a (pay for) pick-up & transfer. BTW: the images on google maps are out-dated; the fallen down buildings opposite have been renovated and turned into accommodation.

We had a greatstay at La Kalsa di Somavi. The location was the best part of our stay as it is in a lively, safe part of the city just steps away from many bars, restaurants, and parks. The hosts were friendly and responsive. One of the hosts lives in an apartment just above the property, so she was there to meet us and explain the rules of the house. She does not speak a lot of English but we communicated via Google Translate. The apartment itself is great - there is a spacious kitchen, small living room, good wifi and the shower has good water pressure. Overall we were very comfortable.

Perfect location to explore Palermo, spacious terrace, and well equipped kitchen.

“Ungewöhnlicher Urlaub, direkt in Palermo Kalsa”

This apartment in Palermo is a great apartment. First all communication with the owner and the check in was easy. We arrived, and it was clean and nice. The location of the apartment is superb - there are 10 or even 15 restaurants in a couple of minutes walking distance. Also the sea is reachable in only 4 minutes walking - wow! (You can not swim). It is a real part of Palermo, and we felt safe. Last not least in about one minute there is a small shop/ kiosk, where you can buy water and some wonderful homemade food, too. Overall really happy with the stay, would always recommend this apartment to friends or family visiting Palermo.

Really great location! Quiet, close to the sea and yet you can reach all the sights on foot. I can only recommend the accommodation on the first floor with a great terrace. The kitchen is super equipped.Parking is possible nearby.

“A well sited, well appointed appartment”

The property is well furnished with 2 bedrooms and a separate lounge and a kitchen. Also has a decent outdoor dining area. Good WiFi throughout, and a very well appointed kitchen that you could cook any meal – if you had the inclination. The property is looked after by Maria, who lives in the flat above, and is happy to help. Word of warning, don’t have all the air conditioning on and turn the oven on – it knocks the power out! Easy walk into the main part of the city, and many restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. Free parking outside the property. Be warned the sat-nav will take you a few metres away from the property, look for the 3 blocks with large street art on the end – it’s the righthand one.

Clean and well-appointed. Good communication from host. We had everything we needed. Air conditioning was excellent! For the ladies- hair dryer was excellent-better than the hotels in Italy. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and, everyone I don’t know!😁
