“Delightful stay”

Delightful bed and breakfast with large rooms. 10-15 minute walk to the historical center. Parking available for 25E around the corner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options abundant with delicious cakes, breads, pastries, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, etc. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Wine bar across the street fun. We traveled with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property.

The room is well decorated but only with the ancient rocks in certain rooms. We found the staffs here are all very friendly with big smiles and warm attitude. For the breakfast, it's simple but elegant at a relatively small area but the hotel arranges different shifts which is good.

Our stay at Family affair exceeded all our expectations. From the friendly staff, the beautiful and spacious rooms, to the excellent recommendations for dinner, everything was top notch! Family affair is a true haven and retreat in the hustle and bustle of Palermo and is highly recommendable!

We are just back from our amazing trip to Palermo. We booked a room "Bordonaro" with a double bed and a big cozy sofa. It is located in a nice modern area near the Politeama and very convenient to go to the city center. The breakfast was really delicious with different types of sweets and freshly prepared coffee. The room is also very comfortably designed and you see they care all the details including amenities. We slept well on the good quality bed, which is uncommon in Italy. From the airport, you can reach the hotel by the airport shuttle (costing only 6 euros and takes 50 minutes - get out at the Politeama stop). We highly recommend to book a UBER directly from the hotel to Monreale (we paid 22 euro); this was one of the highlights of our Palermo trip.

Politeness and service provided by the receptionist was great - we checked in early with lots of luggage and she helped us store them while we checked in later. Also loved the warm and strong showers - it was a nice change after traveling around Sicily, where electricity and hot water can be a bit unstable...
