Location

Location is top. You can reach the main street and the famous places in some steps. The house is authentiek and not cold in winter. Wifi is very strong. And owners are very kind and helpfull people

Had such a great time staying here! It's spacious, conveniently located and you have everything you could ask for to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is amazing, large fridge, washing machine, oven, hob, what else do you need? Bed is comfortable and there's lots of room to store your clothes. As this place is located right in the heart of the historic neighbourhood La Kalsa, you find yourself wandering around taking in the small alleyways and discovering palazzi and nice little bars and restaurants just around the corner. Supermarkets and shops are nearby. Plus all the sights are within walking distance. Highly recommended!

“Home Away from Home in Palermo!”

Casa Marettu is a beautiful Sicilian apartment, tastefully decorated, within the historic area of Palermo. The location is superb. It is fabulous to return to after a day of seeing the sites - we stayed for 5 nights . The bed was extremely comfortable. The owners, Nunzia and Luca obviously take pride in Casa Marettu and in being wonderful hosts. We are very thankful to Nunzia for meeting us after midnight initially and consistently being so lovely and very helpful. We highly recommend staying at Casa Marettu. It is exceptional!!!

Great location in the city's historical center with easy and short reach to Palermo's main tourist attractions and historical monuments and, of course, my kind and helpful hosts Nunzia and Luca. Just 8 minutes walk from central train and bus station, 2 minutes walk from Palermo's main street and transport artery Via Roma. Palermo has very effective bus service as long as you’re staying in the city and need to move between key and central areas. So public transportation in Palermo works decently well.

Casa Marettu is an amazing sicilian house with nice furniture and a good location. It was a home for me for my long stay. The owners are amazing people and really really helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a central home (it is located in the historic center and so close to train and bus station as well as main attractions of Palermo) but rather quiet (because historic centre is quite noisy at night) this is the best house. If I ever travel I will absolutely stay here again!
