This is a small simple hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a balcony. Simple breakfast provisions are provided and there is a breakfast room where guests can help themselves to tea and coffee all day.. the owner is particularly friendly and very very helpful with local knowledge .

It was clean, very welcoming, quiet, central for the old town, with outdoor balcony space, good value for money.

“Lovely stay in the city centre”

Excellent location - could walk to all the main areas (the furthest site was the Royal Palace, but even that was less than 30 minutes away). Hotel was a decent size and very comfortable - I enjoyed the little snacks left in the room and Giuseppe was very helpful and let me store my bags for the day. I felt safe as a solo traveller, including walking back from dinner in the evening.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is perfect about it - the location, the attention to detail, the comfort, the sparkling cleanliness which makes the ambiance smell nice all around: I ended up staying longer than I had originally booked and could see deep cleaning being carried out across all rooms each day by the kindest and most helpful team. The nice touch of a few breakfast items and confectionery was also very much appreciated, with some simple yet tasty treats such as jams, nutella, yogurt and juices. The place is run by high professional hospitality standards, an increasingly rare feature in a world of amateurish improvised hosts! All of this would be enough to make this my go-to place in Palermo; but I think a special mention deserves the incredible humanity of the host, Giuseppe: as someone who travels to connect with people and rediscover each time the beauty of the encouter with strangers, I cannot express the sheer joy of finding in him a respectful, discreet and yet genuiely open, caring and curious conversation partner, full of wisdom, kindness, knowledge and intelligence. The impromptu chats we had during my stay are among the most treasured memories of my Sicilian trip: a testament to the power of human relationships and that no matter the distances, you can always find something that makes you feel home with the right people.

The location was excellent, very central and perfect for exploring Palermo. Giuseppe was an amazing host - very kind, welcoming and always helpful. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment. Every day we had water, jam, Nutella, toast and other snacks waiting for us in the fridge, which was such a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome.

It was a lovely accommodation, clean and light with all the facilities that I needed and snacks, drinks and an explanation of the coffee machine for breakfast. Giuseppe was very friendly and approachable and explained everything I needed to know on arrival.

Great welcome and a beautiful room. The balcony was a great surprise, and Guissepe was incredibly helpful and very friendly. The coffee was fantastic, and there's loads of shared space if you don't want to eat in your room.

“I felt at home away from home”

It felt like home, away from home. I was traveling alone and it felt super nice to find such a warm, welcoming host and place. This little hotel is very close to the center, in a very nice area. The host gave me so many tips about what to see and where to go! I wanted to stay one more night but unfortunately there was no more availability, so I had to transfer to a neighboring place. Even if the place where I went was more modern and sleek, I missed so much the warm welcome and the beautiful atmosphere of the Ariston Petit hotel!

Guiseppe greeted me at the door and made me very welcome. When you meet him you understand why his reviews are so outstanding. He is extremely attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Note this review recognises that this is not some flash modern enterprise, but a charming great value hotel run by a proud proprietor. The room was spacious and furnished with all that one would expect from a good class hotel. All of the toiletries were freely available as was water and breakfast items in the fridge. Hot drinks were freely available dispensed in the common room, which featured an excellent coffee machine.
