Welcoming host, who had all processes efficiently organised: wifi, functioning of the space along with local knowledge. The apartment is stunning and overlooks the beautiful opera house. Excellent location. One way the market the other the Cathedral with all the restaurants of via Maqueda in between.

The flat was in a beautiful location overlooking the opera house. Even if it was in a busy area it wasn't too noisy during the night. The property is beautiful. It's a listed building and there are some beautiful features, like the ornate ceiling and the stunning old stone sink in the bathroom. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The owner was waiting for us and gave us hints and tips about places to visit and where to eat. She has kindly left water and milk in the fridge. There was coffee, a good selection of teas and a well equipped kitchen. If one both local food from the many amazing food markets you could easily prepare it there. The location was central to everything we wanted to visit. The train station was 25 minutes allowing to visit places further afield. I would highly recommend to stay in this beautiful property.

Location is good. Host is very nice and accomodating. Beautiful property. The property is close to landmarks, cafes and bus stop. Safe for solo travellers. I would stay here again.

The apartment was breathtaking, a beautiful historical apartment. The host was so sweet and caring. The towels were very soft and the airco was working great! I would recommend this place to everyone. The mural paintings are really unique. We are extremely grateful that we have been able to stay at this place such an unique experience!

Gabriella kept in contact with us and was helpful checking us in to her home. She explained that the property is part of her family and due to its incredible location on the main street of Palermo, it gets very loud. She thoughtfully provides ear plugs on your bedside table which you may need to take advantage of! The balcony overlooking the opera house and the hustle & bustle of Via Maqueda is a very special spot on which to enjoy a beer and people watch. The property is a beautiful home, with large shared spaces such as living and kitchen areas. The tiles and ceiling are beautiful so be sure to look down and up!

Location, location, location. Heritage building with lots of character. Had shared space with other guests but this was not a problem as met other travellers who were lovely. The view from the balcony overlooking the theatre was lovely. Has your own bathroom and room was a good size,

Beautiful flat with amazing original features. Very spacious. A joy to sleep in and fantastic view of the Opera House over the road. Gabriella was a fabulous host. Her recommendations are definitely worth listening to. We would definitely return.

Fantastic character - historic building with unique fittings and furniture. Location was incredible. The view from the balcony was just amazing. Communication with Gabriellla the host was great- so welcoming and allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout which was very kind.

Fantastic property in amazing location. Room was beautifully decorated, bed was very comfy. The views from the window over to the theatre were stunning. Separate kitchen and dining area shared with another room.

This appartement is a pure art. We really loved the decoration and all the details. It really imerge you to the traditional Sicilian art.
