“Very nice apartment for a family”

Very nice apartment for the family. We spent there 1 week and we enjoyed a lot. The apartment itself is medium size but the interior is very well organised. We spent lovely warm evenings walking among narrow streets in the village. It was a clean apartment. 20min drive to Paleo (be aware that there are traffic lights changing every 7.5 mins) where you can find many shops, restaurants, bars and everything else you need for a vacation. Parking place for a car is available just 50m from the apartment. Very easy contact with an owner even in late hours. There are plenty of cats close to the house if you like pets. Very calm area, no traffic or any kind of noise around. Kitchen equiped with all the items you need. We liked it very much. Windows equiped with mosquito nets and blinds. One working AC. Second one in a bedroom did not work but we used that main in living room and it was enough to cool the space.

Cosy flat, comfortable beds, beautiful village, Parking space very close by Tipp: You should buy your food somewhere on the way- there is no Supermarket in the village and only two Tavernes (Tomatelli Taverne is not recommentable).

The property had everything we needed, and was clean and tidy. The host, Athina, and her family were extremely helpful and friendly. The village is picturesque, with lovely walks along winding roads through olive groves.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Makrades. Athina is a great person, very helpful and friendly. The apartment was comfortable, equipped with everything needed. We highly recommend it!

The apartment is perfect for a family of 5. It is spacious, comfortable, with everything you need. Athina is very nice, very helpful. She has a small restaurant nearby where we could buy coffee, ice cream and we had dinner there one day with traditional Greek music which was fantastic. It is a very rural area with narrow streets and traditional houses, and very few tourists which we loved. You will need a car/motorbike if you want to move around the area or go to the beach.

“Beautiful relaxing holiday.”

This property and family are amazing. The flat was very clean, well equipped for the short time you will be spending here. Ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. Anything you need or have issues with get solved and sorted within minutes, really super host. It’s in a very small village about 15 min drive from paleokastrita beach. A car is needed as it’s just too far of a walk especially if you have young children like we did! I have to highlight that Athinas restaurant is beautiful, simple but so delicious and very good value for money. We went there for just the Greek salad and spicy feta dip as we weren’t hungry but had to have her food one more time. Wished we went here sooner as most of the places are very touristy and being a bit of a food snob I didn’t enjoy most of the places I tried. I will recommend this place to as many people as I can, I genuinely can’t explain the warmth from this beautiful lady and her family.

The warmth and generosity of the hosts and the sublime ambience of Villa Makrades is what drew us back again to this mountain village oasis. Athina, Spiros and Sia welcomed us like family and prepared hearty, homecooked meals. Both of the villas are fully equipped, independent homes and both are decorated with love.

Beautiful home in Corfu. We had an apartment that was very clean, comfortable and equipped with anything we could possibly need. Our host was very kind. We loved the village of Makrades as a great base to explore the island.

First I would like to start with our host Athina, extremely kind, helpful, true proffesional. She was there for us for whatever we needed. The aprtment is cosy, very clean and perfect for familiy with two children. There is enough space for every body and everything. The kitchen is fully equipt. There is nothing missing in this apartment for every day comfort live. I really really recomended it especially for families. Thank you very much Athina.
