“Spotlessly clean, probably the best location in Corfu, and the best view in Paleokastritsa.”

Great apartment, swimming pool, and location. If it weren't for the two buz-killin' points I mentioned below, I would definitely give this place a 10 and consider returning. I almost never write negative reviews, and I’ll start by saying that my family and I are very organized and considerate people — we always leave every place as clean and tidy as possible. The AC: There are sensors on every door and window, and the AC only works when all doors and windows in the entire apartment are closed. If even one door or window is open for more than 30 seconds, all the air conditioners automatically shut off, and when they turn back on, they do so with a loud beeping. It’s hard to overstate how annoying and disruptive this is. First, we arrived at midnight, and it was unbearably hot. It took us over an hour to figure out why the air conditioners wouldn’t turn on (we eventually found the explanation buried somewhere in the long list of pre-arrival instructions — including a recommendation to download the property’s app). Second, you can’t even step out to the balcony without waking up your partner or kids in the morning — there’s no handle on the outside of the balcony door, so once you step out, the air conditioning shuts off after a few seconds. Same with leaving the apartment: the main door locks automatically, and the key is attached to the main power switch. If you take the key with you, all the electricity in the apartment shuts off instantly. We had to beg the property manager for an additional key. Although she eventually agreed, she made it clear that this was highly unusual. We had to explicitly promise her that we are environmentally conscious people who wouldn’t leave electricity running unnecessarily while away.

We had an excellent experience here! The staff was very friendly, prompt, and always helpful. The accommodation was clean, the pool well maintained and spotless, and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is excellent, close to everything you might need. I truly recommend this place!

Hanna was so welcoming with wonderful details such as the fruit basket on arrival, the BBQ facilities near the pool, pool towels in our room and excellent communication prior regarding extra bed types. The view is stunning also from our large balcony.

Best view in the area. So close to the sea with great swimming. Apartment was great. Super clean, comfy bed, good space for 2 people and stunning view. Peaceful location too for a chilled holiday. Hana the house keeper was so helpful, efficient and runs a slick operation. Lovely restaurants close by. We particularly liked the village tavernna Andreas, just left down the road. Great food and lovely local owners.

Breathtaking view from the terrace and a very nice pool. Great location within a walking distance to the beaches and restaurants but the place itself is quiet and relaxing. Apartament is well equipped and clean. Host is extremly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here and couldn’t recommend it more.

If you want the most beautiful view of Corfu, this is it! We traveled everywhere, but we couldn't find a more beautiful view. It is true! It is better than in a pictures.

The view is amazing, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It’s only a 3-minute walk to the beach, and there’s private parking available. The balcony is lovely, and the staff and host are friendly, helpful, and offer great suggestions.

We had fantastic days at the Platakia Blue. Hanna and Spiros are wonderful hosts. The service is so much more than expected. They give tips and recommendations that were great every time. The apartment was even cleaned in between and new towels were provided. We had great days in a wonderfull ambience with a breathtaking view.
