Amalia was the perfect place to stay! The location is ideal, a 4-minute walk to the beach. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. What truly made the experience special were the incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, who made me feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Hotel Amalia was exceptionally clean. The sheets, bed, room, and all the furniture were spotless — the sheets were even starched! The rooms were spacious, the bathroom had been recently renovated and was in perfect condition. The owners, Mr. Kostas and Mrs. Vasiliki, were very kind and welcoming. They even sent complimentary treats to our room, which was a lovely gesture. We truly felt at home.

Excellent stay! The Greek owners were incredibly warm and attentive—very amiable hosts. The hotel was spotless and it’s just a short walk to the beach—super convenient.

Thank you for your hospitality. Costas and his wife do everything possible to make you feel wonderful during your holiday. Thank you also to the woman who takes care of the housekeeping-brilliant clean, daily cleaning. There are two lovely, sandy little beaches within walking distance of the hotel. Plenty of tavernas, bakery, shops nearby. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Good

The hosts were very nice and attentive, provided any needed information. They have offered us a bottle of wine, which was much appreciated. Spotless clean. Backery is 5 minutes walk, beach just down the road. Easy to go to Kavala by car, where there is lot to do and see.

“September stay”

We had a very pleasant stay. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. A kind host, helpful staff, very clean and tidy place, with a warm atmosphere. Definitely one we recommend and plan to visit again.

It was a wonderful hotel. With everything inside the room, very clean. There is a family bussines, very nice people. They offer for my birthday a bottle of wine very delicious. The beach is very close, and the water is perfet. You can find restaurants around the place where you can choose from a lot of varieties. Kavala 20min with the car.

We definitely like this place. The host is so kind and helpful. We were there for 2 nights and the rooms was cleaned every day. The location is perfect.

Excellently maintained hotel with a very good location. The staff is friendly and responsive. All towels are changed daily, bed linen - every other day. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Each room has air conditioning. There are various taverns and snack bars nearby. With pleasure, we will come again to Hotel Amalia next summer.

We had a very pleasant stay at Amalia Hotel. The hotel owners, mrs. Vasiliki and mr. Kostas are very nice and helpful with any request, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel has an everyday cleaning service, which is great. It is settled in a nice area of Palio, with a beautiful view, close to beaches, but far enough from the traffic noise. Also, it is a short walk away from nice places to eat. Palio is a great place for those who don’t like crowded and very touristic places.

Everything was great - starting from the welcoming by the owners Costas and Vasiliki who constantly made sure we feel good during our stay, through the everyday cleaning and change of towels, the location (it’s 5 mins away from the beach, some taverns, bakery, all you’d need during your stay), all the way to the sea view you get from almost every room’s balcony.

“Good place, acceptable vacantion.”

Large but simple room. The owners are very hospitable. The rooms are equipped with most of the kitchen facilities, but you have to manage it yourself. You receive what you pay for.

“Close to exceptional”

The ground floor studio we got was surprisingly big in size, with a renewed bathroom. Everything was neat and clean. The exceptional quality of the mattress ensured a good night's sleep. 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach, easy access on foot. Kostas and Vasiliki - very pleasant hosts, always there to help!

“Great accommodation for family, very kind and hospitable owners, perfect cleanness”

The hotel is located near the beach and main road. In addition, there is a lot of parking place, which is a great advantage when you go by car to different beaches every day. The apartment was vast and very well equipped, with a sea view balcony. We did not miss a thing. The service and cleanness were just perfect. The room was cleaned every day and the towels and sheets were changed as well. I've never been to such a clean hotel before. I would like to thank our hosts Vasiliki and Kostas who made us feel at home. So kind and nice people! It is a place worth going back to!
