The location is great right at the entrance of Palenque (coming from yaxillian and bonampak). We were very happy that we didn't have to drive trough the city centre anymore after a long day. Secure parking.

“Interesting hotel in nature”
The hotel is quite out of the way which means its surrounded by jungle and plenty of wildlife. Spidermonkeys and agoutis are frequent but you can also hear howler monkeys (not so nice but very interesting). The pool has a bar and food service. Both are pretty decently priced. Rooms are of a decent size. Staff are very helpful and nice.

“Quiet place”
Nice room with views over a well maintained garden. There are two pools (a natural near the restaurant and one at the hotel) and a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is a bit cold. There’s breakfast included in the room. The options for dinner are OK but not too fancy. Free parking on site.

“Jungle resort”
It was nice that, next to the pool, you could swim in the river. The restaurant was nice for dinner. The location in the jungle just outside town with gardens full of butterflies, gekkos, iguanas and capibaras was great.
