“Good value for money and friendly service.”

I had a lovely stay for a couple of days at Maya Rue Hotel. It was clean and all the staff helpful and friendly. A good location if you don’t want to be near the ruins. I walked from the ADO station and close to square and other restaurants. A lavanderia very close on same street.

The location was very central, the room had air conditioning and the breakfast was nice.

We had a stalled car battery and the owner came over to help start it again.

Excellent facilities and staff

It is just a very decent hotel, decent rooms, nice bed and good aircon but nothing extra. The location is very central, but Palenque centrum is not much (you could better be in the touristy area near the busses).

Staff is very professional and very kind. Everybody is nice with the guest, always helpful to give any kind of information. I really appreciated a good cup of coffee from Chiapas offered by the owner at early morning before doing my tour to Palenque site. Beside, I came back from the same tour at 20.00 and the staff was happy to keep my luggage safe. Last but not least: had to catch up ADO bus at 10.40 pm, well ...I asked the possibility of having a shower. It was very appreciated to discover that I could have it by paying a small difference. Congratulation to anyone! Really good hotel

Staff was helpful although I had to insist to have something be done like an extra pillow or have a paper printed out. Breakfast was OK. We could leave our luggage in the storage room while visiting Palenque archeological sites. Bed was very comfortable.

Clean comfortable room with plenty of space and a great shower with great water pressure. Perfect for what myself and my partner needed over the weekend we stayed

“Nice hotel if you don't mind climbing stairs”

Location, about 400m one way from central square and the other way about 500m to the ADO bus terminal. Rooms are spacious, clean and have Individual airco . 24 hour reception so if you have to leave early there is someone to get you out. There is also a simple but healthy breakfast served

Confortable beds and room nicely organized with lot of storage facilities.

Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good AC, staff was also ok.

“Basic stay”

This hotel is a good option if you’re looking for a simple place to stay. The rooms are clean, at a central location of Palenque and good breakfast.

Nice comfortable hotel, very clean. No pretense, simple breakfast.

Unfortunately the room was not very clean, there were blood stains on the sheets (which might have been old, but still, not very reassuring to see, as there were many). The mosquito nets in the bathroom windows were also broken/detached so we had mosquitoes in the room. The noise from the road was also a downside, but not the hotel’s fault.
