Good for the price for Palenque. Great location close to ADO bus station, collectivos, shops and restaurants. Nice roof top terrace. Basic kitchen (could use a few more things) is handy. Owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with aircon.

The staff here were really kind and gave us lots of recommendations for places to go in the area. If you're taking an overnight bus, it's convenient because you can use the lobby, kitchen, and showers for the rest of the day after check-out for just 50 pesos.

“Good stay in Palenque”

5 min walk from the ADO station and from the colectivo that brings you to the ruins for 25 pesos. 10/15 min from Chedraui or from the city center. Quiet area but just a block away there are shops, bus stops, tiendas, hospital, busy streets day and night. The hostel it self it's quiet nice, quiet. Big space that would be nice to be more welcoming to share with other people of the hostel, pool table! The kitchen is okay, there is a fridge you can use! I've stayed in two different rooms, both of them were big, the first one a lot of natural light, facing the road. Beds were comfy, the first room no courtains the second one yes! Both rooms had bathroom and shower in the room. Everything pretty clean. Terrace is great, enjoy the sun, relax, your meal, the sunrise, the light, the howler monkeys in the morning, be carefull!

The bed was comfortable and location good. There was a good ventilation in the dorm and because a bit cooler weather it was very good to sleep.

Cheap place to spend or two nights. Nothing flash but they have huge lockers and it's pretty close to town and the ADO bus stop.

Can’t complain for the price, you get what you pay for. Rooms are comfortable and a good size, staff were helpful.

The hostel was really nice. Very close to the bus station. Close to the city center, but in a quieter neighborhood. The host was super friendly and always ready with great recommendations and help. We were allowed to store our luggage from 7:00 AM before check-in and again in the evening until 10:00 PM after check-out. The rooftop terrace was very cozy and spacious, with a great view of the mountains. Overall, a great hostel that we would recommend 😄

Ideal to crush for one night. Metres away to the colectìvo to the ruins.

Hostel Pakal King is a simple place, but very clean and equipped with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is so kind and thoughtful, always ready to help. The location is perfect, right next to the ADO station, which makes everything super convenient. I do recommend this hostel.

They say their place is rustic but it’s just not well taken care of. There is potential but you can tell they make no effort whatsoever. Bed shits are stained, the matress of my bed has to be changed, and they should have done so a while ago! There is not a lot of furnitures but still we found breadcrumbs and dust on them. Toilets door needs to be fixed. Not mentionning that there is only two showers for the entire hostel. Kitchen is not usable. AC is broken. (Although they dont advertise it but it could be an easy fix…) They have a pool table, which is nice. But it’s not even flat. You remove the triangles and all the balls starts to roll. Again, just small things that can be easily fixed.

Exactly what they said it would be. Simple, clean and quiet. Easy location for ado and collectivos to get to waterfalls, ruinas etc. thanks for a lovely stay. The roof top has a lovely view too!
