Close to Palencia's main street, Hotel Palacio Congresos is near the centre of Palencia, less than 8 minutes' walk from the city's train and bus stations. Everything was fine except a broken door handle to the bathroom meant that the door did not remain closed. However, since I was travelling alone, this was not a major issue. The hotel would be enhanced by having a bar and/or snack bar.

“Perfect for a one night stop over which is what we wanted it for”
The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated on the edge of town. Although there was the opportunity to park our car in the hotel car park for €10 there is street parking in the vicinity. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had breakfast which was continental was very good also an evening meal which was also good
