Polidoros house is a great place to visit the region around Palekastro. It's a lovely village house with stone walls, very convenient when the weather is hot. The beds are comfortable and the house is extremely clean with everything you need to cook, etc. The little court allows to eat or relax in the sun. The location is very nice: it's in the village center, so very close to all main stores and restaurants, while in a small quiet street. By car you are close to several interesting places, hikes and beaches. Our host was so kind to arrange our arrival and departure and to respond to anything we needed, it was great! He also holds an amazing restaurant that I strongly recommend going to. A fantastic place I warmly recommand!

The house was an ancient stone house very well restored and was clean and comfortable with coffee and tea for the first morning. The host has also a restaurant, Finistrini, where we ate (very well indeed) and was very kind with us.

We had an amazing experience at this beautiful accommodation. The house is thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail and elegant touches that reflect true good taste. Every piece of vintage furniture felt high-quality, and the décor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights was the cozy terrace, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning. Another great advantage was the parking space right in front of the house. Overall, everything was clean, stylish, and well-maintained.

“Beautifully restored house in a great location”

A beautifully restored traditional stone house, full of charm and authentic details. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the center with taverns and shops. The kitchen was very well equipped—we found a sandwich maker, pans, and everything we needed for cooking. The rooms were spotless, and everything was either new or carefully renovated. It’s definitely the most authentic and lovely place we’ve stayed at in Greece. The owner was very kind and helpful—he runs a nearby restaurant and even brought us our dinner when we arrived late with our 4-year-old. There was also a baby bed, and even though our child doesn’t use one at home, he was excited to sleep in it here. Highly recommend! P.S. “The Perfect Getaway: Ultimate Comfort and Convenience”

The house was exceptionally clean, featuring numerous amenities and tasteful decoration. Each room had its own A/C, ensuring comfort throughout. The yard was charming, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. Conveniently located near a mini-market and the main square, with the added bonus of parking available right outside the house.

A spacious apartment located centrally in Palekastro, equipt with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We really liked the decorative touches. The place is located very close to tavernas and cafes in Palekastro. This is a perfect staying point for exploring the east of Crete, with beaches of Vai and Kouremenos close by. Communication with the host was easy and we felt very welcomed.

“A charming experience in a Greek village”

The apartment is huge, charming and cosy, located at the ground floor of a a recently-renovated old house, in the centre of the village. The bedrooms are well-furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom has a very practical large shower. The patio is perfect for dining outside of to have breakfast. The area is very quiet and inhabited by locals, but at the same time you are a few meters away from plenty of tavernas and all the essential shops (several minimarkets, one very good bakery). You can reach the beautiful beaches of Vai and Itanos with a very short drive. The host welcomed us warmly and even made us find traditional biscuits, fresh fruits and chileld water. Perfect to enjoy a true Greek experience!
