Very clean accommodation and friendly staff

Nice place surrounded by olive trees, a lot of facilities (Beach, Restaurants, Cafés, Supermarket, town) in walking distance, decent breakfast, very good service and friendly personell. Perfect spot for discovering the very east of Crete. I didn't move my car a single time during my stay.

We took a day trip out to Vai beach and wanted somewhere to stay overnight. Found Hotel Marina Village. They didn't do evening meals, just breakfast, but not a problem we where directed to nearest village taverna where we enjoyed home cooked meals. Note we arrived shortly after 6pm and watched as other couples were turned away. There were reservations on most tables, guess early birds catches the worm. Walk back whilst lit, still needed a little guidance from our torch to avoid some puddles. (it had rained earlier, it's mid October). Beds were very comfortable. Shower was a small, but you cope with what you are given. we had cotton room and our terrace opened to a lovely garden. Air-conditioning available at no extra cost, if needed. Also had a mini fridge, Village had a mini market 5 mins walk away. Excellent value!!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was extremely polite and helpful, the room was very clean, and the location was perfect for visiting the nearby attractions. The accommodation was also very quiet, which made our stay even more relaxing. Highly recommended!

Very well positioned, close to the sea, big and clean rooms, air conditioning, parking in front of the room, nice warm pool, good breakfast, friendly manager. Everything you can ask for. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Hotel Marina Village was amazing. The location was perfect, close to all the beaches around and to the village but also very secluded. The staff were very welcoming and kind. To our surprise there was a tennis court in the property. It was definitely the perfect choice for a relaxing trip.

The hotel is set in an olive grove and the entrance is resplendent with bougainvillea. The pool was a great option when one wanted to cool off instead of going to the beach. Breakfast was tasty, filling, and nutritious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel Marina Village was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it to others. Palaikastro is an unspoiled part of Greece that I would definitely like to visit again.

Quiet location

“Peace and harmony amidst the olive groves”

Good quality furnishings, excellent design with lots of shady corners.. Delightful pool and isolated setting create a peace and harmony amidst the olive groves. Really friendly, helpful and unintrusive staff. Great beaches close by, but also worth travelling a little (Kato Zakros was simply amazing). Palekastro town is lovely, Old Crete with an identity not defined by tourism. Seek out Maria at the Wellness/Massage clinic too.
