Recently constructed / converted old farm buildings, now a really cool stop on the Camino.

Very warm and very attentive welcome by the staff at the end of hard trip through rainy conditions, which our day and stay unforgetable. Excellent food and wine.

“Rustic Retreat”

Right on the Camino De Santiago, this should be on your ‘must stop’ list. Humberto, Luis & Miguel are the very best of hosts, and will make you feel valued and cherished as guests on the Camino. They are particularly caring towards elderly pilgrims. The rooms are huge and well appointed, the bed comfortable. My room had a 20 ft ceiling which added a lot to the rustic ambience. I arrived early and spent much time on the terrace in the back, which was peaceful and tranquil. The staff are incredibly kind and pay attention to details. They noted that I liked having photographs taken, and before I left and without my instigation, Humberto made sure I got one last photo taken. As a solo traveller, it was much appreciated. The dining room lends itself to conversation among tables and with the help of Humberto and Miguel, new friends are easily made. I had the best time there, and am glad I made the effort to work my trip around their availability. Rooms go fast, so don’t delay. You won’t regret it! 😀

The peace, the hospitality, the food and the ambience. This place should easily be one of the best stays on the Camino Frances. Visit the church that Humberto sends you to. It’s an ancient hidden gem.

The staff were so attentive. They could not have been kinder and more helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we required. They gave us a glass in wine at the end of a longs days walking; they lit the fire because we were cold, they gave us blankets for our knees, extra water for our bedrooms - nothing was too much bother. Great food too. Can highly recommend.

The location was perfect and so serene. Staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. The food for dinner and breakfast was delicious. The little library downstairs was the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking.

Beautiful, relaxing environment - the perfect sanctuary after an intense day of walking on the Camino. Among their facilities is a little library with reclining chairs to put your feet up! Alberto and his team are super welcoming and friendly. I arrived with blisters on my feet and they could not have been more helpful and kind! The restaurant serves a high quality dinner and breakfast and the room was comfortable and quiet. It is literally on the Camino path. Muchas Gracias!

Very fun, helpful and friendly people in a nice little town, just along the camino. Big rooms, nice restaurant with lots of local options to taste original Galician food, wine and honey from across the road

“Wonderful warm”

Cosy furnishings and the staff were absolutely wonderful. My friends Left their slippers in the room and of their own accord the accomodation put it with the rest of their luggage that was being transported on to the next hotel. Not all hotel staff would take the initiative to be so helpful. Food Was excellent and our dining experience unforgettable. Loved resident dog Peppo too!

“Wonderful place to stay”

We had a really wonderfully stay. We were travelling on the Camino with 3 kids under 5 and the staff were most accommodating. Beautiful meal, Experience and stay. A great place to stay and for our family a great memory.

“Farmhouse chic - have a glass of vino while watching the cows”

Everything! Beautiful. Modern farmhouse chic. The lobby and restaurant area are beautiful. I sat and had my wine while watching a cow meander by munching grass. It was peaceful and idyllic. Every single staff person at this place was amazing - from check in with Julia; to dinner (I wish I could remember his name) our server was so thoughtful and fun. The owner Humberto (pretty sure I have the name correct) goes out of his way to make sure your stay is memorable. NOTE: this property is right on the Camino. To get your last few miles in (and not have to do it in the am) you can drop your bags here and continue walking to Palas de Rei and they will pick you up and bring you back. My friend and I stayed in a bungalow which was clean and comfortable. Initially hot but when you open the window at night it is fine. Others have mentioned noise from the bar area and there was some talking but by 10:30 I was peacefully asleep. They will also give you a ride in the morning to the trail you just have to let them know the time. If I was to go again I would stay in the main house and not a bungalow. Only bc the house has so much charm- there’s even a library that has 2 walls of glass to watch the cows meander about! Books are on the other side but eh who needs a book when you have cows :-)

Super Mike, the host, was awesome and accommodating. Player 1 had been gritting through a stomach issue all day and the staff were accommodating to make a simple meal he could keep down. Room was absolutely huge. Comfortable beds.
