There was a mix up with my booking - was sorted and my stay was excellent! Clean, comfortable room, with the fluffiest whIte bath towels!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to stay as there had been a flood the previous day. But the girl on reception had already arrange a stay at the Albergue 1km away so that we had no worries. The situation was out of their control and handled very well.

“A beautiful hotel on the camino”

This was equal first in terms of our favourites stays during our camino. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable, the shower is great and we enjoyed some lovely food in the evening. The lady who runs it also did laundry for us at a very reasonable cost.

I travelled in April and the day was very rainy - after a long and difficult walk I had what I needed - a hot shower and a good sleep! And people are incredibly friendly! It is a good place to stay after Camino in a very quiet location.

Loved the location although it is about 3km further than the town we enjoyed the quietness and views. The walk to the accommodation was taken after socialising with pilgrims in Palas de Rei so had the Camino to ourselves as the sun was setting.

We had advised the host that we are vegetarians and he has a vegetarian menu all planned for us. It was lovely to be out in the country in an old stone building.

You don’t need a great wifi if you have the chance to talk to Mario! This is better than lots of 5 stars hotels that I have stayed. He opens his home to people and you feel like you are home

Lovely large room with private shower room. Bar restaurant served simple but good food. Laundry done on request for reasonable price. Extremely helpful staff.

Hard to find, if you’re a Camino pilgrim. Booking instructions should include easy to find directions from way marker stones

“Cute place to stay on the camino in San Xulian”

Clean and right on the camino this place was set up for pilgrims. Food was available when you wanted, the staff friendly and you could pay for laundry services. Plus the sunset and sunrise was gorgeous.

Vanesa is the very best host making you feel like at home every moment. Super recommendable.

Very peaceful surroundings. The property is set on its own, and the room was great. The heating was on when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable. We ate dinner at the albergue as we bumped into people we’d met on the Camino, but the food here looked good. Breakfast was plentiful.

Cant comment, I hope this is unusual but they cancelled my booking the evening before, so I had to quickly find something else.

“Perfect stop on the Camino”

Hotel was small but perfect location right on the camino path. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and we enjoyed our night here.

This is a really cool place. Right off the Camino. The staff were super friendly. Gave us some spray for our aching feet. The only draw back is that the room was super hot and no air circulation. Even a fan would help.

The facilities were amazing, nice and private with our own bathroom. The staff provided laughs and good service along with some good food

“Not great value, hot and nosiy”

This place was directly on the Camino Way which turned out to be a disadvantage. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Not big but reasonable size. Bathroom good and we had a reasonable breakfast in the morning, not included.
