“An absolutely fabulous and relaxing holiday for a family of 7 adults”
Villa Evakri is a hidden gem on the side of a mountain with fabulous views. The first drive up to the villa from the main road was a 'interesting' due to all the twists and turns at 11pm at night, but we followed the directions and the signs to the villa and arrived safely. I'm pleased to say that it was much easier in the daylight and we soon got used to the road! The hosts were great, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome food was delicious. We also loved being able to pick fresh lemons (added to a large G&T) from the garden. Thoroughly recommend Villa Evakri

“Highly recommended if you want to be away form the noise of the city and enjoy the beautiful view!”
We made our own breakfast and sat outside for a long time enjoying the sea view every morning and the city lights and stars every evening! The pool was very refreshing, having different areas to relax in was great for a large family, the outdoor speakers for music was awesome, Maria's beautiful Greek salad upon arrival was the best i have ever tasted!! It was quiet and relaxing for everyone and the hosts were very helpful with advice to go to places and anything we asked for they were happy to help. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone!!

House is well equipped (didn't miss a thing), nice pool area, amazing view towards Heraklion and the gulf of Heraklion. We were family of eight including one 5-year old grandchild and we also enjoined the large living area during the night time. Hospitality of the hosts was overwhelming. We felt safe and taking care of.

Magic view! The hosts were super good! She was very pleased that we all had a good time. She offered many Greek delicacies. We probably didn't find anywhere closer to Greek food than her food😀

Our stay at Villa Evakri in Crete was absolutely unforgettable. The stunning views of the mountains, sea, and Heraklion's city lights took our breath away. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, providing fantastic recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, and beaches. We found a perfect local beach just a few minutes away by car, offering clean water and a peaceful atmosphere. The nearby tavernas served incredible food, and the hospitality was outstanding, with free desserts always on offer. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with a lovely pool. We were treated to delicious traditional meals and fresh vegetables from the hosts' garden. We felt welcomed from the beginning with thoughtful treats and bid farewell with beautiful parting gifts. We highly recommend this villa and can't wait to return.
