Amazing place! This was our second visit to Crete, and it was fantastic. If you’re looking for a place with its own unique style and the spirit of the ’70s - this is the one! Vassilis waited for us all night (baking fresh bread at the time!) - we arrived around 3 AM. In the morning, he prepared delicious eggs with an incredible sauce and fresh tomatoes - all the ingredients were local and organic. The sea is just a few minutes away, and we always found sunbeds under an umbrella on the beach. There are two tavernas nearby: the old one and the new one - we highly recommend the new one! But the most special part is the atmosphere and the amazing company we had at the hotel in the evenings, and it’s all thanks to Gabriela. She creates real magic!!! Meeting guests from different countries, cooking traditional dishes together, and chatting late into the night. I want more) It was so cozy, fun, and inspiring to spend time with Gabriela and the other guests that we didn’t even want to leave the place in the evenings. The property is spacious, the rooms are clean and simple, there’s a beautiful rock, the dog Willy, cats, cicada singing - and most importantly, the perfect vibe. And those little doors with the tiny windows - I’m in love! I wish everyone could feel that vibe🤌

“Peaceful”

I slept here for 4 nights and it was just wonderful. A special place: warm, hospitable, personal with a typical traveller atmosphere. They cook delicious food, if you want you can join for a normal price. The garden is nice and serene. And the sea is very close! The room was simple and that was just great: simplicity. Here I found peace. Thank you!

I loved the atmosphere! It is a place where you could really just wind off and relax from all the city noise. The room was more than perfect! The host was friendly and lovely! Thank you for everything, I will come back next year!

I liked the concept of akti argo. The traditional project. It was just 50 meters from the sea, a beautiful coast that was like a private beach. The breakfast was excellent, the eggs from the owner's chickens, and the same vegetables. It was a fantastic experience.

“Challenge to pay - but worth coming for a Rustic! feel !”

Very Traditional Travern Style Hotel - needs modernising but actually if it can modernise and keep the vibe/feel would be amazing!

We paid almost 100€, we booked a room for one night at 15:00, arrived at 20:00 to be notified that it will be ready at 21:00.the location is very bad. The place is quite however it was very dirty. The room was unbearably hot, without air-conditioning and you couldn't open the windows because there is no screen. At 21:30 the owners hosted a party right beneath our room with music and guests until 3am. If we wanted to go clubbing we would have chosen something else.

The staff was friendly and polite.

Very friendly host who also actively manage the accommodation. There is the possibility to eat there and the food that they serve is delicious. Very close to the beach.

This place is unique. You can feel there the really Cretan hospitality. We enjoy that the back was close 50 meters by foot. The room was nice and clean :) Very happy and satisfaction.
