I loved the location. Save money on park entry fees, because we could take an extra day and relax at the lodge without extra park fees. Incredible sunsets over the river. The best is to watch the view from the swimming pool in the African heat. The whole vibe if the place is so authentic. I went to many lodges and this one by far had the most character. The others felt like conference centres and if I was at work, where this one created the feeling of I am in Africa, not a work conference with an African theme. Loved the bush walk, the chef was amazing and the beds and sheets were very comfortable and new. We would have stayed longer if we knew it was so amazing. The bonus of knowing your profits goes to help the kids in the local school is also a great feeling knowing that my leisure and fun helps kids the community as well. They live up to their motto: “The best kept secret in Uganda!”

Amazing pool, very kind staff, gorgeous and widespread outside area Price was fair especially for having a huge pool like that. Relatively close to national park entrance if you have your own car. The road is unfortunately not in good condition, but that’s not the properties’ fault.

All in all most likely one of the best lodge outside the park for a good price. I would definitely come back. Food was also very tasty and super nice pool overlooking the river.

Fabulous authentic location. Staff and owner extra attentive, happy, smiling and above and beyond welcoming. The rooms and facilities were excellent. The bonus was the superb pool large and spotlessly clean.

The lodge is incredibly well located with a stunning view towards the Nile. It‘s also an excellent starting point for trips to Murchison Falls and we were able to watch birds, monkeys and even Elephants (rare though) on the premises. The lodge is well maintained and the little huts are beautifully equipped, each of them having its own porch as well. The pool is amazingly big and the hang out area offers boardgames and nice spots to relax. The food was incredible. We stayed five nights and looked forward to every meal :) What makes this place different from others, is that’s it’s part of an NGO that supports children and women from the area. We were able to visit the school and also participate in the Sunday church service which was very special and made our stay even more unforgettable. Thanks to Tanja and the whole team for creating such an inspiring and lovely place up north in Uganda!

Amazing surroundings, very authentic comfortable and impeccable cottages, with all conveniences you will need. A very large pool with magnificent views of the Nile and delicious food in the restaurant any time of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful to plan our trips to the park. Truly the best kept secret of Uganda. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Spot Close to the Murchison falls Park. Some sweet little huts on a huge place with a really great Pool with a Look over the nile. Great staff Always caring about the guests. For us the best Spot we could have booked to start the Trips to the park
