“Incredible stay”

If I could give a score of 20 I would. I turned up feeling a bit down on my luck, lingering food poisoning and disillusioned with my trip, but the warm, welcoming attitude and genuine generosity of spirit of the owner and her family turned things around for me. The garden is such a welcome green space in a dusty city and it so cosy and adorable at night-time. The food the restaurant serves is delicious and fresh, it helped me regain my trust in eating again! The included breakfast options are extensive with various drink choices. Hot shower. My room even had a fridge. The bike rental company is on the pricey side but for the convenience of delivery and collection it felt worth it to me. It was such a pleasant place to be that it really felt hard to leave.

The owner is a super helpful and organised lady who speaks good English. She helped with booking tours, taxi and another property to go to the Mekong Islands. For everyone who is traveling is very helpful. The property is a nice garden and they also have a restaurant. We are going to stay in the future. Thanks 🙏 Lenka

Absolutely wonderful stay! Ngoc is incredibly professional, friendly and very helpful! She fully understands your wishes and makes everything possible to make them come true! And of course always smiling, even when very busy with customers. The garden is very peaceful and rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Location is a bit far from city center but tuktuk is easily available and breakfast / dinner can be directly ordered from guesthouse’s kitchen…. And everything is so good…. Perfect stay for 3 nights or more if you want to get a good overview of pakse & its surroundings!

Do you need a personal touch to your stay in Pakse? Look no more. This is the place for you if you need 1. A helpful engish speaker 2. A cheerful vietnamese speaker 3. Help with purchase all typess of transport including hire of scooter. 4. Laundrey done 5. Delicious meals by host. Two temples within walking distance. Location is out of town but should present no problems getting places with the help of staff here.

The host is the kindest person we met during our holiday in Cambodia and Lao. She also helped us to book tuk-tuk and motorbike. The food was really good and the room was clean.

Good location Very good breakfast and possibility to have dinner as well. Rooms spacy.

The owner runs the place by herself, assisted by some girls. She provides a good breakfast. Dinner was very nice as well. The doorlock appeared not to lock at all, so a change of room was offered and accepted. The rooms are very quiet, while the resort is just 'off the main road'.

Everything was perfect at Xuanmai Garden Resort. As soon as I arrived, I felt like at home. Ngoc is a great host and did everything to make me feel good. You can have breakfast/lunch/dinner, there's a huge choice of menu. The room is large and spacious. The garden is just amazing. If you are looking for a quiet place, this resort is the good place for you ! It's a bit far away from the center (by walking) but I had a motorbike so this wasn't a problem for me! I recommend this place of heaven 100%.

“Lovely views, epic host!”

This was easily the best stay in Laos which we had, all thanks to Ngoc, the property owner - she helped us during the stay, assisted in organising travel in the region and even arranged the best travel option to Cambodia. She checked up on us at critical points making sure we had the best and safe experience. The food at the property is home made and delicious.

The hotel is quiet and a bit outside of the city center, which makes it very pleasant. Rooms and bathrooms are big. The garden is lovely. Breakfast and food was very good. The owner is very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay!

“Nice stay in Pakse”

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, good sized and the bed was comfy. The owner is very attentive and helped us when we had an issue with our bus. It is about 5km from the city center, not far in tuk tuk if you would like to have dinner or something (a restaurant is also available at the homestay and the food is good). Really recommended!

The location out of town (which is why we chose it) and really peaceful. Gardens are lovely. Ngoc and her family were so attentive and helpful. Yum food and fabulous communication.

“A wonderul garden paradise.”

After the night bus from Vientiane, the resort is a quite garden paradise. Mrs Ngoc is an excellent host. We were thinking on having a rest the whole day and she convinced us and organised the visit to Bolaven Plateau, the falls, coffee and tea farms and the Champasak temples. She drove us also to the ATM and bank offices. Breakfast and dinner, excellent.
