“Cheap and quiet”

Quiet place with kind people. Small road. Not far from a main road, so you can get everything there. We felt very welcome.

Xavier and his wife are lovely hosts. Very friendly, they gave us a lot of recommendations for the loop. We rented a scooter here, which worked great. Place is spotless and quiet in the evening. AC and wifi worked well. Breakfast was nice too. We stayed for 2 days before the loop and came back and stayed for 2 nights after. They arranged our transport to Don Det which was really comfortable. You can buy postcards here with stamps and they post them for you.

Spend a night before and after doing the loop, it's great good location to walk near the Mekong on the evening. The motorbike I've rented was in good condition, no issue.

“Very friendly host, good stay”

The host is super friendly!!! Also you can just get fresh cool water from the fridge :)

“Been here a few times, and always had a pleasant stay”

We have stayed here three times, on the way to, and return from, Don Det, and each time it has been a pleasant stay. We particularly like the room at the front, because it is very cosy and cheerful. Bed comfortable (something that is not always the case in Laos), A.C. and bathroom adequate, and you can have a good breakfast. Also, for some unknown reason, this place seems to attract friendly and intelligent guests who like to have a conversation - something which is sadly becoming increasingly rare among travellers these days. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in Pakse.

Short overnight stay with very early check out so not much to report. Owner was friendly, there was a bookcase which is always good

“Great choice for 1 night”

This was a great 1 night stay for the price. Clean, simple and practical. Fresh water in the room, two towels, soap and a very helpful owner who helped us organize taxi to the airport.

The guesthouse is very clean and located on a quiet street, with spacious rooms and excellent value for money. Breakfast was very tasty. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was Xavier’s kindness and helpfulness. He answered all my questions promptly even before my arrival and organised a fantastic trip to the Bolaven Loop. Thank you again, Xavier, for all your help!

“Great stay”

Great little 'dorm' room with only two beds. Good towels, cold drinking water, individual fans, very clean and comfortable. Communal area outside.

Xavier is an amezing guy.

“Paradise in Pakse”

Option of European breakfast, eggs, the world's best baguette, fruit etc in house (extensive menu with costs) or the option to go out for noodles, soup or othe local foods. All excellent!
