“Stunning Mekong views”

Delicious meals, evening 4 course Lao meal easily catered for vegetarians breakfast esp fresh mango, homemade yoghurt, jams and all served with stunning view across the Mekong. Extremely helpful manager and friendly staff. Would highly recommend a few days here exploring the Elephant park (rescue elephants) and the village. Great conservation effort with elephant park, local medical clinic and waste awareness. Thank you team. Easy walk into town and the boat pier. It was a fabulous3 day stay

Definitely worth staying here for a good nights rest in between the slow boats long days! On site restaurant so you don’t have to go anywhere after the long draining slow boat day Wish I stayed an extra night to go to the ethical elephant sanctuary Excellent facilities, pool and clean room !

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and overlooked the Mekong and the mountains. It was a very comfortable stay. We only stayed for one night while on a two-day river cruise from Luang Prabang to Thailand, so we didn't take advantage of all the amenities, like the pool, but would definitely recommend this place. The food at the restaurant looked and smelled delicious. We only had drinks and dessert and they were great. The hotel also picked us up from the boat pier and delivered us back there the next morning. The packed breakfast was also plenty.

Very nice hotel with great view on the Mekong river, nice people, great room. They gave us the suite while we booked a normal room.

“Terrible Experience”

The only thing I actually enjoyed about the hotel was the bed, which was ok, and the views from the room/breakfast area. These overlook the Mekong river and the sunrise is beautiful.

Breakfast and dinner were very good, host was very kind They waited for me when the slowboat arrived, took my heavy backpack in the car en brought me to the hotel.

Lovely room with beautiful view over the river . Woke to see elephants bathing in the water from the sanctuary opposite. Easy walk into town. Near the boat dock. Lovely pool.

The room was nice and gave a nice feeling of a lodge with beautiful views from the balcony over the river.

Wendy is full of energy when she explains all the obstacles she went through to give back to 6 elephants a true free life. The hotel is lovely, so is the restaurant and pool and the must-do is the immersion with the elephants. Every penny is injected to care and protect these wonderful animals.

Nice location, in front of Mekhong River. Nice room and balcony . The swimming pool was fabulous, very big , well located with wonderful view and very nice and clean water.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay during the two-day Mekong cruise. They pick you up directly from the boat pier upon arrival and take you back the next morning, which makes everything very easy and stress-free. The room was very comfortable, and being able to relax by the pool after a long day of navigation was wonderful. The food was truly excellent. Highly recommended!

A gorgeous, stylish room with own balcony overlooking the Mekong River. Perfect for admiring the sunset! Wonderful friendly and attentive staff. The pool was quite small but very nice, and the hotel restaurant served delicious food. The hotel is a real gem for relaxing between slow boat cruise days. We would have loved to stay longer!
