Good proximity to the pier just a few hundred metres walk up. Friendly host awaiting us. Helpful with organising breakfast and lunch from across the road bakery (think family owned). Nice restaurant Sabidee up the hill a little, great for beers and local food. Easy to pick up breakfast in morning and walk down to boat.

The location is very nice, just a few meters uphill the pier. Right in front you can get breakfast and find several restaurants for dinner in the evening nearby. The owner is friendly.

Great place to stay if getting the slow boat. Very close to the pier and organise food to take on the boat the next day which was very helpful.

Alright for one night, great location close to the pier. The room was clean, there was A/C, there were fresh sheets and towels.

Spent one night during slow boat trip. Best location, nice owner, who came to meet all his guests from the boat with paper with our names :) I booked in advance so that was cheaper than a day before or the same day.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quick check in, short walk from the long boat pier, close to restaurants and small shops. The owners also organise food for you to take away (for a small cost). Room is basic but comfortable and perfect for one night.

Close to the slow boat pier. Simple room no bells or whistles. Comfy bed & clean sheets. Very friendly owner who sorted us a sandwich of our choosing for the next day, ready before 7:30am so we could collect and hop on the boat nice and early. Very welcoming owner. Air con was very appreciated

“Perfect stay for when you’re taking the slow boat”

We stayed there for one night. The room was clean with a private bathroom, the location was perfect and they have a bakery in front of the guesthouse with delicious croissants and banana muffins. The only disadvantage was that the walls were very thin and we had one neighbor who started singing at midnight.

Super good value for money at our halfway point on the slow boat. We walked from the pier and it took 5 mins which was good for the next morning, Owner was lovely and we ordered sandwiches for the next day which were very tasty. Good location in regards to restaurants and bars too although we were tired from the day on the boat so just slept all night!

Great location, one of the first guesthouses from the slow boat pier. Perfect for a night’s stop on the 2 day slow boat as you can see when people are arriving! Amazing restaurant across the road too.
