“Very enjoyable 2 night stay”
Lovely location by the river. Good for sunset. Beautiful room. Great swimming pool. Restaurant served very nice food in a relaxed atmosphere.

“Great views but nothing more”
The location of the hotel is indeed amazing. One of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. The view from the bungalow (we had Mekong River View Villa) was really spectacular. There are a lot of greenery, flowers, trees at the hotel. The waiters at the restaurant do their job very well, they are very polite and attentive.

Beautiful property perched on the hillside over the river. Gorgeous rooms with amazing views. Staff were great and opened up the pool bar at sunset just for me, and even remembered it was my birthday and made me a special cake. They also made me a box lunch to take on the boat the next day. It's expensive for the area, but this is definitely the place to stay in Pakbeng! Thank you!

“Lovely hotel with beautiful pool”
Swimming pool is amazing. Rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately we had to leave early so couldn’t get breakfast but the packed breakfast was nice. Dinner was also very nice in the restaurant with a lovely view Staff were lovely

We were really happy to have chosen Le Grand Pakbeng, especially after reading the reviews and listening to the experiences of most other accomodations in this town. We had a spacious, clean, comfortable bungalow with amazing views of the Mekong. The service, including transport to and from the slow boat pier, was very attentive.

Hidden gem, somewhere along the Mekong in Laos. Regret that we could not stay longer as we needed to take the boat to Luang Prabang.
