“Stop over for slow boat”

Fine for a one night stay if doing the slow boat. Picked up from pier to guesthouse and dropped off again in the morning. Breakfast was good

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good variety for breakfast, saw an elephant from the breakfast area washing in the river. Excellent having the tuk tuk from and to slow boat.

“Convenient overnight in Pak Beng”

Easy room for overnight stay for the 2 day long boat ride. Breakfast was nice and we had views of the elephants at the sanctuary opposite. Comfortable bed and the staff were very nice.

It was ok, but nothing special. The breakfast was tasty (there were springrolls, which is great). Room could be a bit cleaner, but it's still more clean than most hotels in Laos.

Handy location for an overnight staying whilst doing the boat trip (Chiang Khong to Luang Prabang). Breakfast was good - eggs, bread (including bread with chocolate), fruit …

“You get what you pay for”

Good location from the boat port. Good AC but it leaked in our room unknowingly onto our bags, so best not to have bags sitting under it. The room is as expected for what you pay, one night is certainly doable. Comfortable bed, and breakfast included which is available before you have to leave for boat. We managed to see an elephant having a bath across the river while having breakfast which was an added bonus.

Surprisingly good breakfast! Room was ok for one night, bed was actually quite comfortable. Pick-up from the slow boat was nice but not really necessary for the short distance.

Beautiful friendly staff, always willing to help! Facilities were beyond adequate, definitely good value for the price and perfect stop over for slow boat.
