“Excellent personally run resort!”

The owner/manager Nancy was very helpful and responsive before booking regarding sorting pickups from a boat jetty and also an onward journey to the airport. After booking she picked us up right on time and drove us to her resort town which was very busy with Eid celebrations. The room and bedding was very clean and comfortable . Although our room didn't have the walk in shower described (which we would have preferred had we stayed more than 1 night) Instead it was a fixed shower over a big bath but had no shower curtain to prevent spray outside the bath. Water pressure and temperature was however excellent. Breakfast was not included but you can choose from several extra payment options - we had the freshly made pancakes which were delicious with fresh mango. There were many restaurants serving food on the beach directly opposite and lots of convenience shops close by. For us it was an excellent short stay after being on the local islands and being able to gauge the journey time onto the airport without too much worry. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The location, 100 metres at most from the beautiful beach, was superb. They use only glass bottles for water. No plastic bottles. Whoopee. Thailand is littered with plastic. Staff was ok. Would recommend and stay again.

The owner, Nancy, gave excellent service and was very accommodating.. Rooms was very clean.facilities, location and breakfasts, top notch.

Nancy, the host, was the star of the show. Whatever you need, Nancy is there for you. Use a kayak for free, rent a scooter, umbrellas, laundry... Rooms were cleaned almost daily. The place itself is across the road from an about 8 km long beautiful empty beach. It gets some local tourists on weekends, but even then not much. Nothing fancy, but everything works. Internet connection is surprisingly fast and stable.

“Value for money in Pak Meng”

This hotel is very basic but it is not expensive so I felt it was good value for money. It was quiet and at night I could hear the waves from my room. It was in a central spot along the beach with many restaurants close by. The area is beautiful and I enjoyed exploring the nearby national parks.

Lovely place to stop, on the beach, location is excellent, restaurant near by are fantastic, secure parking. My regular stopping point when driving to Phang Nah, or Krabbi

The owner and staff very friendly. The room was spotless and a good size. Pakmeng is so beautiful and peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of places to eat nearby and a few shops to buy bits. Beach straight across the road with a beautiful sunset

It's very quiet and had the like of having really good neighbours!

Nancy, with her son Matthew, were excellent hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nancy has a good sense of humour and is very professional, always wanting to make sure you have everything you need. Chairs on the beach were a plus, and we were also allowed to use the kayak free of charge. We happened to be there on music night, which was fun to singalong and mix with various nationalities. Thankyou so much Nancy and Matthew for a wonderful stay in the lovely calm area of Pak meng beach (often noone else on the beach !)

“Good location”

Great location, you just have to cross the road and you are on the beach, where the resort has chairs. They also have a kayak and tubs you can take for free. Hot water in the nice bathroom ! Bed a bit hard, but not that much compared to other places in Thaïland. Too bad they don't make breakfast because it's hard to find some in Packmeng.
