The atmosphere and the town are great. Nice place to stay just before you go to Khao Yai national park. The museum antique style is fantastic and the view from the balcony on the river with fall is great.

The resort is nestled in the museum. The place was quite, clean and comfortable. It was fun to explore the place. The restaurant serves yummy food at reasonable prices.

Access to the national park, but perhaps it is better to stay nearer it. Pak Chong has nothing of interest.

“Exactly what I needed to make my visit to Kao Yai National Park a pleasant one”

I found it difficult to find a place that I thought looked good that was available when I was visiting Pak Chong. Thankfully I eventually stumbled across Ban Mai Vintage. My second floor room was spacious and nice for a mid-range hotel. The staff were helpful, the adjoining restaurant very pleasant and the whole place has bags of character. As someone travelling by public transport, the main question I had prior to my visit was whether this hotel was more suited to someone with their own transport. However, I needn't have worried. It is possible to walk up to the main road in little over 5 minutes. And it is easy to then find a 7-11, Amazon coffee shop and restaurants, etc. You can even walk down the road for another 5 minutes or so to the nice night market. It is also possible to get a motocycle taxi to the hotel from where the buses stop and for the hotel to call one for you if you want a lift somewhere. Greenleaf tours were also able to pick me up from the hotel to go on a tour of Kao Yai national park for no extra cost. In short the hotel did exactlyi what I needed to make my stay in Pak Chong and my visit to Kao Yai a pleasant one.

This was such a quirky wonderful stay! We thought it was just an interesting foyer from the photos but it turns out that it is actually a vintage museum plus hotel. The labyrinth of collectibles just continues on and on through a wonderful maze and suspension bridge connecting the hotel to the restaurant on the other side of the canal. It is a 45 minute drive to the National Park which I recommend you organise an ahead of time with a private driver or rent some scooters. The drive there though and tell us a bit of highway so unless you’re super comfortable on a scooter, get a private driver. There is also a super cool crystal clear blue water hole near the entrance of the national park called Ban Tha Chang, we actually enjoyed this more than the national park itself and it was free.

Loved the ambience, this resort isn't the regular experience, but literally a treasure trove of history and memorabilia. Crossing the river every day for breakfast and dinner was a wonderful way to bookmark each day. The staff at every turn were excellent, from check in to check out, the attendants, to the breakfast buffet and restaurant cooks and waitstaff. Everyone was so pleasant and polite. I don't think it would be suitable for tourists looking to party hard, which is a good thing.

The decoration of the resort is very special bcuz of using the vintage component. And also the breakfast is delicious and variety.

The interior is a museum-like atmosphere and we spend some time exploring the halls and taking photos. The room is spacious. The highlight of our stay is crossing a suspension bridge to reach the breakfast area. The breakfast is good too!

Completely unique. An unbelievable array of seating areas and quirky artefacts, thousands of them covering almost every interest.

Cute rooms with private terraces at the river. The hotel is an attraction by itself with lots of curiosities, vintage items everywhere, kids loved the place. Restaurant at the other side of the river connected by hanging bridge is also fantastic!
