Highly recommend to stay at this cute little hotel! We had amazing time there. The location was perfect just a few minutes walk to an amazing Paje beach. The hotel was very cosy and quiet, the room was great, we had a little terrace with pool view, the bed was very comfortable. The food was very delicious. Staff was so helpful and very kind. Perfect central location in the main Paje beach ideal for access to kitesurfing centres and restaurants. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Big room always clean with excellent air conditioning perfect for cooling down and a quick shower coming out of the Sea. Beautiful Sea views from the rooms. Very good Breakfast albeit not much variety and average quality coffee. The connection to Mahali hotel means being able to use a 2nd restaurant and bill to the room. Good deals on Kitesurfing lessons for beginners by own kite-centre with very competitive prices. Free fresh water provision. Lovely small infinity pool for chilling with a great view.

“Perfect for relaxation”

The location was perfect, right in the middle of Paje. Great set up with the pool, sun beds and restaurant right on the beach front, where you can watch the kite surfing and relax. Big bed in the rooms and very hot showers. Enough variety at breakfast for our 5 night stay. They also have live music every Monday night.

“The best hotel in Paje”

From the moment you arrive it seems that everyone knows who you are, which room you are in, and even some know you by name. This made us really feel welcome. The rooms (luxury) are big, clean and have a amazing view over the ocean. Restaurant has great food, and for breakfast you can choose unlimited what you want. They serve you at the table which is just above the beach. All hotels we passed walking the whole week, looked less, so we were very satisfied whit our choice. Had a great time and Paje is the most alive spot on the East coast

Beautiful beachfront hotel. The rooms were nice, spacious, always clean and tidy. The food was fantastic – big compliments to the chefs. The hotel staff were always positive, smiling, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We really couldn’t have chosen a better hotel for our first visit to Zanzibar. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

“Incredible stay for our honeymoon”

We stayed in the beach house and it was absolutely stunning! We had direct access to the beach as well as our own private beach and pool. The staff were so kind and made us feel so welcome, we felt genuinely sad to leave.

The location was great! Right on the beach with a private beach. Not a big hotel, so perfect for a quiet relaxing stay. If you want a party, this place is not it. The rooms were large, the staff were great, the breakfast was incredible! The drinks and food were cheaper than other hotels in the area, but more expensive than local places. Overall I recommend this as your stay in Paje Beach.

“The service needs to be improved. And then cups are all cracked. This was weird!”

The breakfast was okay but some waitresses were so rude and poor customer service is at the peak. The location of the hotel is in a very slum area.

We stayed 3 nights at Zula Zanzibar and our stay was amazing. The rooms and the whole hotel area were very clean. All the staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant at the beach is one of the best in Paje. Overall it was a perfect stay and we can definitely recommend staying here.

“Perfect Place for Total Relaxation”

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zula Zanzibar Hotel. Everything was perfect from the peaceful atmosphere to the warm hospitality. If I come back to Paje, I will definitely stay here again.
