Great location, one minute from beach. Cute little bungalow with comfortable beds. Decent shower and toilet facilities. Great restaurant and bar. Friendly staff.

Took the Zanzibus from Stone Town to Paje, dropped off close by, 8$ once a day. Stayed four nights wish we could have stayed longer. We had a lovely first floor cabin with a nice balcony. Room was cleaned and serviced everyday, which was a nice surprise Clean outdoor shower, cold water which was very welcome. Great atmosphere in the bar area and good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Close to the beach and short walk into town. Ate at Benton food court which had a nice vibe and also a very good Indian meal at Harbour House, both within walking distance. There are lots of powercuts, but this is the same all over the island, nothing to with YZ Place. If you are looking for a chilled, rustic vibe, no frills but very comfortable, then this the place for you.

You truly feel like home away from home at Your Zanzibar Place. Close to the beach, but more importantly the atomsphere was amazing. Despite that it was not very many people at the hostel the time I was there - I still felt like it was a very social place. And you can as well enjoy your own company. The wifi was very good for our digital nomads!

It was a very amazing stay. I totally enjoyed every part of it, the Bar and drinks are great and even more the people around. At the night this place was vivid, nice music was played and the talks with strange people who quickly became friends did not disappoint.

the team is amazing. welcomed me immediately with open arms. did kitesurfing with their partnering kiteschool and excursions. they organized everything and everything was amazing experience. the owners are very friendly and even drove me and the other guests to a party as we couldnt get any cab at this time. thank you so much. i will definetly come back.

Great location, good vibe, chilled out area. Some of the staff were great. The owners and the guys on the bar but there was a small local girl who worked on the bar who was pretty rude when I brought up the fact there were constant power cuts at the property.

Clean and safe place with very kind staff, great food and bar, very close to the busy beach, yet quiet enough to relax after a day full of activities at the ocean. Big and inviting common area to easily socialize with people from all over the world, to have a snack, a drink - don't miss out the hot shots ;-) - or a game night. Professional and affordable massages by Rachel Juliette are a big recommendation too! Best hostel on Zansibar - certified.

The place is super close to the beach, it is beautiful and the 4 bed dorms are very spacious. The whole staff is extremely nice and also the restaurant is good and has vegan options, I had dinner there two nights. Toilets are generally clean, just beware that there is no hot water (you don’t even want it, it’s too hot outside). At night you can walk in the beach and reach the different restaurants, it all feels very safe.
