“Look no further for the best place in Paje!!”

This place is amazing: GO! Everything about this place is so well taken care off: amazing breakfast, delicious dinner & cocktail options, beautiful and clean rooms that are tidied daily by staff and most of all: amazing staff. Everyone is so kind & helpful. The fact that this is also an organisation that helps disabled children in Zanzibar gives it even more depth & beauty. We felt so at home very quickly. Its a beautiful place where you can totally relax but also go find community at the beach or in the town of Paje! You can walk to Paje beach, which is like a 20 min walk, which is fine :) Ellen is very kind & her vision for this place is so beautiful and selfless. If you are looking for a place in Paje: this is your spot. She also is very caring and would always ask how our time was & checking if we got home

Comfortable and clean , with a nice breakfast and a nice pool. The lady running this is really an angel and I stayed here to learn about the school she runs for the disabled children The money she makes from the hotel goes to support her project. She is relocating to Jambiani, closer to the beach. Please support her by choosing her hotel.

“A really wonderful, special place!”

We loved everything! Ellen, Frank and all of the staff are incredible people doing amazing things. The room was lovely and kept exceptionally clean, Frank and the kitchen staff cooked us delicious meals and drinks and Ellen was always on hand to check we were ok. More Africa Guesthouse is around a 10 minute walk to the centre of Paje which was perfect when we wanted to go out to explore/visit the beach etc. Our favourite thing about this place was that all of the money goes directly to funding Ellen’s school for disabled children. Ellen even took time out of her day to show us around the school (not just the building, but also the curriculum, the work that pupils produce and we got to say hello to the wonderful children too!). We cannot emphasise how special this place is - it really felt like a home from home.

Without thinking about it twice if I can come back someday to Paje I would return to this hotel. Not only for comfort habilities but also for the human value they have. The breakfast is good and the staff is amazing.

The owner gave us a worm welcome she helped us with everything we needed to know. The food was superb. There service was very good. The pool was a haven. The owner have a big heart for everything she does with the school. And for the community. When we return to Paje Zanzibar we will definitely stay there again. It's not close to the beach, ( not that far, transport not a problem for right next to More Africa there's a taxi service. Very good service as well ) We slept only one night, but it is a must if you really want to experience the people and the culture. That, you can not experience at a resort or a hotel...

Rooms were great very clean. Pool bar and staff were very friendly. There is a school on site for children which we visited. Ella the owner is a great host. Such a great and humble place 💕
