Breakfast had lots of different options, including delicious fresh local fruit, coffee, tea, a buffet as well as al la carte options. The hibiscus juice was very tasty, and the staff were excellent.

Where do I even begin? This place is nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the amazing team, who went above and beyond to make my stay special. The location is absolutely stunning, and I stayed in Villa 4, which I couldn't have been happier with. The food exceeded all of my expectations and was outstanding throughout my stay. I would return in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. A truly unforgettable experience.

This hotel is like a paradise. Incredible nice details in interior, garden is astonishing, everything super clean and well organised and the cherry on the top is the staff that is exceptionally kind and helpful. Best hotel in Paje with European standards.

All of the staff were wonderful, genuine in their desire to help to make our holiday the best experience possible. The small number of spacious detached villas and the overall laid back nature of the resort. No stress to always find a sunbed of choice and the pool/grounds team kept the areas spotless. The hotels closeness to Paje which is a nice walk and offers varied laid back bars/restaurants as an option

We stayed at Kisiwa On The Beach as two families with three small children (one 2-year-old and two 1-year-olds). Our arrival was pleasant, but the overall experience quickly declined and was disappointing, especially given the high price. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and housekeeping does a good job. Food The food is overpriced and bland despite nice presentation. Brunch offered freshly made eggs, but the rest was dull. The à la carte menu is standard and lacks creativity. Dinner service was very slow. Pasta dishes took a long time, arrived in small portions, and were low quality. Only the octopus was well cooked and properly seasoned. The barbecue evening was also disappointing: by 8:00 pm the meat was dry, portions were small, and late arrivals received almost nothing — despite half board being included. Food safety One children’s pasta dish contained olive pit pieces, causing a broken dental filling. Staff later claimed not to remember the incident and asked for photos. My wife was served bad tiger prawns (later became sick), and when we requested a replacement on the house, there was a discussion because the alternative cost more, which felt inappropriate. Service Service was slow and disorganized. Orders were often wrong, and simple requests had to be repeated. Porridge/oatmeal was repeatedly replaced with poached eggs, causing confusion about payment more than once. Families and cost Not suitable for small children. A simple children’s lunch for three cost 98 USD. Water is limited to two liters per room per day, forcing frequent bottled water purchases. Fitness center The gym is below standard, with limited, poorly maintained equipment and mosquitoes from open windows. Verdict It looks good and has good housekeeping, but food, service, pricing, and problem handling do not meet expectations.

“Lovely local staff doing their best under extremely poor management”

This hotel could be wonderful, but the management is failing on all fronts—guest safety, service, honesty, and basic hospitality. Our experience included health risks for our children, lack of support, misinformation, and unacceptable behaviour from senior staff. We hope the hotel group takes this seriously, because the current situation is nowhere near the standard expected from a property with such ratings and pricing

Location is Excellent, Staff even better we had such a warm welcome, and amazing hospitality during our stay, and as much as they must be asked to go out of their way to check on you, it felt genuine from most of them ! Sunday Dinner was african night food was fantastic all the local favourites, and more.

Superb location and fabulous hotel. We stayed in a Villa with a private pool which was exceptional.  Food was excellent with a good selection of drinks/cocktails. Staff were super friendly and made our whole stay one to remember. If you want peace, quiet and relaxation this is the place to stay.

This place is exceptional! Our stay here was truly unforgettable. I've never stayed in a more peaceful, clean, tranquil, and beautiful hotel. The beach was stunning, with loungers always available and spaced far enough apart that you never felt crowded. The pool area was just as serene, and the water was absolutely perfect. The gardens were impeccable, and our room was lovely—comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. The food was incredible—authentic, delicious, and full of traditional flavor. What really made our stay special was the staff. Shout to Muhammad , Lydia , Steven and Adil . They went out of their way to make us feel at home, attending to our every need with warmth and kindness. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it’s a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts. We absolutely loved it and only wish we could have stayed longer!
