I stayed a week with Vanessa and Cristina. Their welcome and availability in giving me all the information about my stay in Paje are unmatched. Their big hearts will win you over. My room was spacious and very clean with a balcony outside. They organized a beautiful dinner with a BBQ of fish and typical Spanish dishes, their land. The location is a 3-minute walk from the sea. I can only recommend to stay in Karibu House if you want to feel at home in Paje. I arrived as a traveler and left as one of the family. Thank you beautiful souls. See you soon. With love❤ Paolo.

“Great place that we would love to come back!”

The location is very good, close to markets, to restaurants and to the beach. There was very few power cuts (usual in Tanzania) but they were very quick. The house was pretty and clean. The kitchen was very good too: everything we needed was there (cutlery, water and even some foods). The rooms had mosquito nets in the windows and door. The beds were very comfortable, the fans in the room worked very well. The hosts were incredible. Vanessa was so nice and incredibly helpful, she gave us recommendations for places and tips for around town. And when we had a small problem in the room with water, she fixed in two minutes!

the location was very good, not far from the beach and very near to the main road. I spent all my time in the Summer Beach one of the recommendations, but there were many. Vanessa was an excellent host, making you feel very welcome. The whole place had a very homely feel, with a lovely garden. Breakfast was varied and filling. The transfer to and from the hotel was extremely punctual and comfortable.

Great location, near to the beach and plenty of food and drink places. Rooms were as described, we had no qualms. We had breakfast one of the mornings and we found it to be good value for money. The best part of our stay here was the great host Vanessa, she was so welcoming and helpful in giving us recommendations in the area and overall ensured we had a great stay!

“Amazing hosts for a nice guesthouse in Paje”

The hosts and staff of this house are amazing, really making your stay in Zanzibar special!! The house is nicely located close to the beach, the breakfast is tasty and filling and the rooms have everything you need given the very affordable price.

I recently spent three nights at Karibu House, and if I had the chance to return, I would choose it again without hesitation. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and, more importantly, the atmosphere was truly exceptional. The unique charm of Karibu House is undoubtedly influenced by the fact that both managers are sisters. Their presence adds a special touch to the place, creating a welcoming and distinctive ambiance. Highly recommended!

Karibu House is a great place to stay in Paje: it is close to the beach and you'll have probably the best hosts you can wish for. The breakfast is excellent, the hosts are always approachable and available, and the rooms are cozy. You are exactly in the middle from the beach and the main road, so everything is very close. It's definitely a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, and welcoming place.
