We stayed here for 6 nights and had the absolute best time. The service was amazing and we felt very welcomed. The breakfast was delicious and served with fresh ingredients. The rooms were very spacious and the wifi worked well. We will be back soon!

“An absolute Gem in Zanzibar!”
An absolute gem in Zanzibar! Our stay here was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the front-of-house service was exceptional — everyone was so warm and welcoming, and the owner, Sarah, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented, a perfect start to each day. The little touches really made this place stand out — like coming back in the evening to find the bed freshly made and the room perfectly tidied. The location was fantastic, close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing, and the aesthetics of the property were just stunning — every corner feels thoughtfully designed. Overall, amazing value for money and one of the best places we’ve stayed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Zanzibar!

Lovely small property that felt like we were in a quiet oasis. The staff are really friendly and helpful, few minutes walk to the beach, and restaurants. Very small supermarket. Small pool- but it was great

A nice hotel a couple minutes by feet from the sea. The breakfast is very tasty and the hotel has a nice style. The hotel has not many rooms which makes a very calm and quite feeling inside the area. The rooms are big. Power outages might appear but this happens on this island and they have a generator to cover these periods. The staff is very friendly! Would definitely book a room at this hotel again if we come back to Paje.

“Incredible and unique!”
Amazing experience at chokoro house, a warm welcome and great atmosphere. The rooms are stunning! Beautiful clean pool also to dip in! Situated in the village of Paje just a couple minutes walk from the beach! For a small guesthouse boutique, the breakfast exceeds all expectations! So many restaurants around the area. For the value for money it’s been incredible, it’s definitely a unique and more homely experience rather staying in a big resort which makes it more personal and special! Thanks to all the lovely staff.

“Amazing”

“Affordable Luxury - worth your money”
