“Calm oasis in central Paje”
had a wonderful stay at Aluna in Paje and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The hotel has a lovely pool area that was perfect for relaxing, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights for me was the yoga on the rooftop. The teacher was excellent, and the classes were a great way to start the day. The food in the restaurant was very good, and I especially loved the breakfast. There was plenty of choice each morning, including fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, pancakes and much more. The location is also excellent. It's in central Paje, making it easy to walk to both the beach and the town. There is also a small shop and a pharmacy nearby, which was very convenient for picking up any essentials. A comfortable, friendly and well-located hotel with great facilities. I would definitely stay here again.

When I stayed at aLuna it was very quiet well maintained and the staff were very helpful. They have their own food and drink facility which is useful for a quick snack or smoothie. Would recommend to stay here when visiting paje again.

The room was a good size with an excellent balcony. No view to note but that was the choice made. Staff were very friendly and helpful; pool was lovely.

Aluna Paje is fabulous, all the staff are friendly, the rooms are always spotless! Sheets changed every two days, always fresh water in the room, with tea and a kettle. Good breakfast and a varied lunch and dinner. Thanks to Martha and all the staff. I will definitely be back!!

“Highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful place!”
Highly recommend to stay at this cute little hotel! We had amazing time there. The location was perfect just a few minutes walk to an amazing Paje beach. The hotel was very cosy and quiet, the room was great, we had a little terrace with pool view, the bed was very comfortable. The food was very delicious. Staff was so helpful and very kind.
