“Perfect for a weekend trip”
The pool was incredible. Also one of the few private pools still running with thermal water. And it is nice to know they have a rigorous schedule for cleaning the pool. The breakfast was great, all our expectations were met. The room has a lot of character, the facilities of the hotel were a former country house, and the hotel manage to reconvert the space in a hotel that keeps the character.

The location is excellent. It is an old hacienda with a classic style and perfect decoration. Its history comes back from the time of Simon Bolivar and the army who fought for the independence of Colombia. The hotel also has excellent hot springs.

I love the swimming pool, the rooms, how nice the staff was. I have to say that the food was really good, and also the dishes they offer include local food from that specific region of the country, which is really good to have the opportunity to enjoy typical food from that region.

“Nice hotel and worth staying at for the historical experience”
The history of the building and the pool are the best bits, but it does fell like it could do with a modernisation to some of the facilities.

This is one of the most beautiful colonial hotels in Colombia. Such an experience to stay there! The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was great, and the thermal waters were extremely relaxing.

The hotel from the last time I visited looks renewed has been kept in an amazing condition and the hot springs are just the best! there's so much history and it looks beautiful! the service is also very good.

The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. The thermal pool was incredible, we could have spent forever in it. The staff were all wonderful, and the views over the farmland nearby were stunning. We highly recommend staying here!

“Historic colonial era hacienda with a heavenly thermal pool and the peaceful countryside”
Besides the beautiful location and history of the property the thermal pool is a huge advantage for staying there. It is a few minutes out of the town of Paipa but it is a reality onto its own and a wonderful get away if that's what you are wanting. The Hacienda is really near self-sufficient just like it was intended to be from it's 1716 beginnings. The lodging is lovely, bar and restaurant very good and the type of place you really should stay for at least a couple or more days.

“Wonderful stay at a historic hacienda”
Breakfast - Excellent! We ate until our heart was content. Pool - very nice. As it's not too deep, it would benefit from some sitting space within the pool (it's a thermal pool). Room - very good. Setting - lovely hacienda.
