Spotlessly Clean good air conditioning and fans good WiFi and comfortable beds. Tip get your driver to stop in a shop to pick up snacks etc. before you arrive. They can provide traditional dinner. Perfect for an overnight stay for safari. Loads of room kids loved the little pool. We would stay again no problem.

We had a happy stay at Life of leisure. Rooms are great with provided shampoo, shower gel..good hot water. From the porch of the room we enjoy the view in front of a small garden, we found some colourful birds in the morning.. quite relaxing. We ate dinner here, which was tasty, they arranged safari, taxi for us. Everything goes smoothly, their support exceed our expectation, Manju and especially the owner of the house. She's so kind and caring, she even helped me shipping my stuffs that I forgot back to my home country. I truly appreciate their hospitality.

Everything felt new. The shower and the bed were great, and we especially loved the porch where we enjoyed our dinners. The home-cooked meals prepared by the owners were delicious. The location is great for safari in Wilpattu, just 10 mins from the entrance. There are just two small things to keep in mind. First, there were some bugs in the room, although the room was very well sealed. This is unavoidable given the location in the middle of nature. Second, it would have been nice to have access to the swimming pool when you arrive early in the afternoon. However, it is reserved for the family villa, which was clearly communicated in advance.

The lodge was spacious, clean and well equipped. What an amazing place to stay with the most perfect hosts a husband and wife team. So attentive to every need. Incredible Sri Lankan home cooked food, for breakfast lunch and dinner. Picnic breakfast and lunch for our day safari arranged by the property. A barbecue 😋 arranged and cooked for us after the safari. I would recommend this place to everyone..

“Cannot be better”

Our stay could not be better. Manju and Rossi are wonderful hosts. Rossi is also an excellent cook. They organized for us two day trips to the National park with Manju's brother Milinda and a guide Maleke. Milinda must be the best driver around. They do their job with passion and they did their best to show us the animals we wanted to see. If you are into a serious wildlife photography Milinda is your best choice. Definitely recommended!

“Warmly recommended place, close to Wilpattu”

Manju and his wife Rosie went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. The food was really amazing and they helped with getting a tuk tuk and taxi to our next destination at a fair price. We absolutely loved the safari organized through them as well; our driver Milinda tried to position the jeep in the best spots and we were able to see a leopard, a sloth bear and tons of other beautiful animals. Our guide Kaushika spoke English perfectly and his knowledge about wildlife kept our kids entertained for the full day. Great experience!

Great place!

We came here straight from the airport because we had a safari planned for the next day. The place was comfortable and clean. Also the cooking of Rosie was amazing, we’ve enjoyed her delicious homemade Sri Lankan food for dinner. They even went to the butcher for halal chicken, thanks again Manju! We had our safari booked through this accommodation so everything was taken care of, driver, breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.

Munju, the manager,could not have been more helpful. He ensured we could get into the house when we arrived early. He also took us on a walk and pointed out an amazing array of birds to us. The meals his wife prepared and he delivered and set out for us were terrific,the best SL curry we have had so far.

Breakfast was basic continental and did not have much options. The caretakers were very good and it was on time. Location was good for us as it was not too far from Wilpattu national park.

“Modern spacious apt in quiet rural setting”

There are 3 apartments at the property, we had the one with the freshwater jacuzzi/plunge pool which is very modern and spacious, it has lovely views across the rice paddies. Helpful manager organised a great Safari for us and the food was excellent. Takes card payment
