Overview
The Econo Lodge hotel is ideally located off Highway 160, just three miles from the Great Pagosa Hot Springs, the world's largest and deepest hot mineral spring. This hotel is surrounded by mountains and provides convenient access to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park, Wolf Creek Ski Area and the San Juan Pioneer Museum. The Chimney Rock Archaeological Area is nearby and Durango, Colorado is about 60 miles away. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities, including golfing, white water rafting, fly fishing, hiking and biking. There are several restaurants, cocktail lounges and specialty shops in the surrounding area, some within walking distance from the hotel. Guests are invited to take advantage of special features and amenities like: Free continental breakfast, free local calls, indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sundeck and picnic area. Business travelers will appreciate access to copy and fax services, large work spaces and data ports at the hotel. All spacious guest rooms feature cable television. It was clean, and had a lovely garden/ outside space. The staff were very helpful. One member of staff carried my luggage down the stairs for me. Right on the edge of town with lots of options of places to eat nearby.

Good location, pretty courtyard garden in back and decent sized room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The indoor hot tub and pool looked appealing though we didn’t have time to use them.

“Quaint and comfortable Lodge”
Sandy at the front desk was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool, very clean. The breakfast was a big plus! Comfortable beds & great location, it was right in the midst of all we took in during our stay.

“Decent place to stay.”
It's a normal hotel/motel. Nothing special, nothing that bad. The courtyard out back is really nice and I loved the trees. It was a great place to hang out.

“It was okay... better than others”
The hotel is obviously old, but the room was satisfactory, the staff were friendly. I was glad to be checked in earlier because I arrived before 11:00
