Wonderful hosts, super friendly and welcoming. Lovely cottage, clean, light, cosy and beautifully decorated. Quiet, but easy to get to , great location close to amenities, but away from bustle. Went for a run in gorgeous countryside.

Beautiful/ charming cottage, fully equipped with everything you would need during a stay. Peaceful location, surrounded by hikes and local amenities only a few KM away. Exceptional Hosts - Welcoming and were close by if needed

The property is just beautiful. It is renovated to a high standard and has all of the amenities you would need. It is lovely to have a garden, hot tub and access to the pool. We loved it here! Plus the hosts were amazing. Nothing was too much of an ask. We will definitely be back!

The gite was spacious, quiet, private, comfortable and impeccably clean. The bathroom was lovely, the shower was gorgeous. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a large fridge. We slept really well in lovely sheets and a warm duvet. You can park just at the front door, ideal. The wifi worked very well. It was too cold to make use of the garden, the pool or the hot tub but hopefully we'll come back one day.

“Wonderful, fantastic, superb cottage in a fabulous location”
We thought the property was absolutely excellent and we loved everything about it!! Our hosts were extremely hospitable and welcoming, the cottage was very comfortable and peaceful, the secure parking was right outside the front door, and the location for visiting important sites in the area was superb. The swimming pool was available but it was just a little too chilly for a swim! Thanks Alison and Allan for a wonderful visit.

“Weather aside, it was a fabulous short break away and we will definitely return.”
Swallow Cottage (Chalet d'Hirondelle) is tucked away in a little hamlet, close to amenities and local attractions. Alison and Allen were lovely hosts, meeting us on arrival and showing us around. The eggs left on the doorstop after our first night were a lovely surprise and provided a tasty breakfast! Property and surroundings are stunning, both having been sensitively renovated and providing a very comfortable base. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us during our three-night stay, so we couldn't make full use of the outside space, but the property more than made up for it. We will definitely look to return in the not too distant future.
